I am going to sell it. We were cleaning it up when it started raining. We quickly (we thought) closed it up and three days later on a nice day, opened it to dry and found huge swaths of mildew on the canvas.
I have the levelers on the back. It also has a 3” lift so the wheels would fit.
The canvas is in bad shape but it will be up for sale minus the cost of a replacement tent soon.
We’re headed to Toroweap as soon as next week as well as to White Pockets and Gold Butte. I’ve heard (from geocachers) that the roads are in pretty good shape. We’ll see.
I have a fixed 180w panel on the roof of our trailer and a foldable 100w that I can put out if needed. Since we drive a bunch during the day, it has a lot of time to charge.
It’s a not well known but you should be running these heaters at least monthly. Apparently, the propane of the valve gets gummed up just sitting there.
Like the decals. The teardrops seem so plain to me though my woman likes the aluminium color. So we are just getting a couple, dinosaurs and a topo map.
We've had our for four years now and couldn't be happier. We seldom have to add hot water from the stove but I have to tell you, that if you are sweaty from a hike there is nothing better than a quick rinse. The bugs are fewer if you don't have that grungy smell either.
A shower drain would block a lot of the air flow. That said, there are a lot of insulated ducting materials you could use that are used today for ducting in clean rooms or other applications. I made my duct out of sheet metal and it looks like a small dryer duct through square.
You do have to be careful with cleaning the canvas since at times you remove the waterproofing. I was able to match my 4Runner wheels on mine after I lifted it.
I don't think my electrical is too much. Michael at Wanderlust helped me quite a bit with wiring, so adding the lights was a snap. I have left and right porch lights, two backup lights, seven white rock lights, two red lights under the doors, a light in the storage bin and a light above the cage...
This is really cool! About a year and a half ago, I had asked about doing just this with a small (35 liter) fridge. I guess they did it. I’ve been doing just this on my own though the fridge is in the center.
I ended up putting on three stabilizer jacks, one in the front and two in the back. They were easy to install (I can weld but you can get bolt ons) and do a great job.

I am somewhat permanently installing my 180 watt Grape panel on my roof of my teardrop and carrying my Renolgy suitcase to setup in the sun if needed. We have been monitoring our usage for several months now to see what power we really need. During the Summer months, no problem but we will see...
