I am a gm fan for the 1/2 ton trucks. My 09 has a few small issues, but overall i am happy with it. it did sit for a while while i was over seas and that is the root of most of the problems i encounter.
The blue plastic in between piece and the gray handle were broken at the outboard axle attachment point while my fridge was keeping lunch nice and cold for a hungry Habitat for Humanity work crew.
Can one buy parts and replace these parts? Anyone else have experience replacing them or...
when we went to led on our field trucks, we choose FRC for our scene lighting. these flat mounts are great for truck sides, we used the evolution on the rear.

Hella marine also has some great, high quality options.
You should post in the four corners forum. i may be able to help, but hopefully someone closer can take a run over there. its a minimum hr. drive from boulder. i am not familiar with LR stuff specifically but am familiar with automotive engineering.
SUPER COOL suspension!
What transmission controller did you go with? I am putting a 5.3/6l80 combo in an 72 wagoneer and am contemplating different controllers.
i am going to keep the relay and not charge from the truck. just in case, but i will be grounding the negative to chassis of the camper. when installed on the truck, ill check voltage/current all the ways i can think of just to be sure.
did not plan on it, did not know from where i bought the kit that it would be positive ground. its all set up negative right now and working fine, if i blow the controller or something i will just have to replace it, though for the life of me i cant figure out why the controller and its plastic...

this thread. I cross posted this question on another tech forum as well...
there is no chassis ground on the charge controler, the mounts are all plastic with the plastic case. I really don't know why one would have to run it positive ground.... its all floating point anyway... I i have it wired as such right now and it is charging the battery fine, lights work etc...
i ended up with a "positive ground" solar charge controller. I have it all setup to charge the house battery and have my loads set up through a fuse block on the load pins of the controller. I am also powering some clearance lights with the truck trailer plug. the camper has a chassis ground...
looking to purchase aprox. 120 watts of panel, controller and such to install on the new camper, sold my old camper with solar setup still attached.
Where are people buying panels these days? rigid is fine, would like a controller with display of charge current/voltage.
Will be running...
MAXTRAX have a textured surface all around, not really smooth at all. biggest test will be if all the little grippy things come off when you use them, or if you need them for bridging.
