This is an awesome build thread. I have seen this rig up close. She is tough looking and beautiful all at the same time.

I run 35 lbs on my daily driver, Cooper S/T 31X10.5X15's.

Seriously, don't most folks buy what the local vendor pushes? Then come on a forum and try to tell others how smart their purchase was? Human nature. Lots of good tires out there.

Not sure anybody was " Judging" negatively. Just posting thoughts on this lifestyle and our individual personal lifestyle choices. Whether it would work for us or not. To each their own dude. No negative judgements, even it doesn't work for everybody....right? Or am I being "judged" for...

Interesting to think about. Practical real world applications are harder to fathom.

Interesting concept. My first thought is that type of life would be sad for me. My family / Grandchildren time is so critical to my life and personal peace.

As Cooper is doing away my favorite S/T, the ST Maxx will be next choice of Overlanding tire.

That is so sad. How many years have these folks been building motors. (<- notice no question mark.)

Or could be said "The Journey is the Reward".

The S/T is a "Truck" tire. Pretty stiff sidewall. But they are more comfortable riding than my previous Michelin M&S's. The Cooper is a pretty serious performing tire for Overlanding.

That looks like that would be a fun project. Not for me at this time in my life, but someone will enjoy turning this into their vision :)

Look into the Cooper S/T. I am enjoying all characteristics!!

Congratulations. Half the fun is working on our vehicles. The never ending project is what I say.
