We have a porta pottie but we're going to travel east and do some urban camping and need more holding capacity. I'm thinking about buying a couple more for the tanks and swapping them out. I thought about hanging a flat tank under the floor but even with an outside port to empty into it's a...
So, I have a lock n roll hitch and I like it, it works well and doesn't seem too spendy for what it is. But, I'm a little disappointed that it has worn the way that it has.
The trailer side has a lot of up and down movement around the side to side pivot that seems to come from the wear in the...
Thx for the comments, I think I'm going to bolt a piece of angle iron to the top of the wall behind the door and drill holes for carabiners. I ordered a tarp off ebay. I'm cheap. I'll post pix when I get it sorted
Using a spacer puts more of the load on the outer, smaller wheel bearing. I guess that's ok if your axle is over-spec but I didn't and still don't think it's a good idea if there is another way. Lol, I don't have any center caps so I don't have to worry about them. To each their own
I measured the backspace of the wheels/tires and ordered axles by length to make sure I had clearance without spacers. Dorman makes metric studs to use with the toyota lugnuts, I don't remember the #. I think tacoma rims (at least the 1st gen) are both or either hub or lug centric, I've read...
These are two that I retrofitted shimano motors into. E-bikes rock, especially torque sensor assisted. 29+ x 3" tires rock too. Each pedal stroke gets a little boost so it really discourages mashing, makes my knees happier. I rarely use anything other than the eco mode but the other modes are...
When I lived in Kansas City we rode bikes in the limestone mines there a few times. They go for miles. Some have been coverted into storage but a lot are just abandoned. Creepy
Lots of 6x12's run on single axles. I like tandem setups. I think tandems transfer less stress to the the tow vehicle from dropping into holes or ruts and lessen bouncing. New tandem axles with springs costs about the same as a single timbren but I also built a subframe to mount them to so...
