Nice. FJC is really a perfect candidate for a hitch carrier. My ROLA 59502 held up well for ~7yrs with small hits from vehicles (it is ~63lbs of steel) following to close. Right up until I took a ~25mph rear-ending while I was stopped back in November.
Having trailer brake/turn lights on a...
Nice! Looking forward to seeing the build.
There's a local Cargo Craft dealer here that sells a few of those, but mostly the smaller 5x8 models that don't have room to stand inside.

You obviously need some airbags to help with that rear spring squat, but it's good thing those commonly-available tire sizes let you run without a spare. Yeah, other than those rear springs I'd say you're good to go.
Surely no worries on that turning circle...
^^THIS^^ I read the list of planned modifications and, while it reads like a dream sheet of awesome equipment, I can't help but feel it would be more suited to an already heavier vehicle like a Tundra or 200-Series Land Cruiser.

For CB I would look for a hood hinge mount or try to make one.
I also started with a Diamond K400 lip mount and Comet SBB5 antenna on my FJC. Solid combo, and that antenna can take a serious beating.
Don't forget you can air down the trailer tires as well to enhance flotation for pulling the trailer over the snow as opposed to pulling it through the snow.
More terrible, horrible pictures. You should be ashamed of foisting such detritus upon our optical nerves.
I hereby sentence you to continue posting pictures until you get it right.

Pretty nifty. Nice addition for stock roof rails or a hitch basket. Even for adding an anchor point off a interior grab handle like suspending fishing poles across the ceiling.
Back on Page 13 I was asking how the roof was finished (bare/painted) and MrOffshore (Rich w/IntechRV) said the roof is bare finish aluminum sheet, .024 thickness - http://forum.expeditionportal.com/threads/164573-Intech-RV?p=2334469#post2334469
Is there a length/width limit as well? If you're considering a rotomolded cooler the Engel 65-Quart is 29.25"L x 16.75"W x 16.75"H for $280 - https://www.engelcoolers.com/engel-65-roto-molded-cooler.html
Yep. There's an FJ guy who ran a 12gal marine fuel tank on his roof rack for a while. Has molded slots for tie down/ratchet straps plus the only openings/fittings are on the top to prevent side/bottom leakage.
