    I'm doomed. Jeep WK.

Also, make sure to check event requirements before planning on attending, some require that the vehicle has 4low to participate.

    I'm doomed. Jeep WK.

I think what you're referencing by it being AWD is that it is a single speed t-case, no low range? The AWD system is great on the roads, but a lack of low range for an expo rig is a major bummer.

    TexasSixSeven F-350 build

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for the RTT rack. I'll be looking at doing the same thing in my '18 that I'll be ordering soon. Mine will need to pretty easy to remove though as I also pull a gooseneck trailer.

7 Days and 6 Nights Through New England

Looks like a great trip. My wife and I are looking to do a trip through New England at some point and are always up for ideas, especially when we can incorporate breweries. We did a trip through CA where we hit 18 breweries in 8 days, but it was strictly pavement in a rented motorhome, so not...

Tac pant for men of substantial dimensions?

Substantial dimensions . . . lol I'm 6'5" 350ish and have been looking for similar stuff. 5.11 has quite a few pants in a 48 waist that are hem to length. I'll probably order some here soon as they should be able to be hemmed plenty long enough. I find too often that stuff that is labeled...

    2017+ F350 RTT Mounting Options

I can also still park it in my garage if it's even with the cab. Sent from my SM-T710 using Tapatalk

    2017+ F350 RTT Mounting Options

For sure, I haven't even ordered the truck yet, so this is all preliminary, but I'd imagine that they are pretty similar.

    2017+ F350 RTT Mounting Options

If RCI ever makes a Super Duty compatible one that'd be easy, I can just drive up there and get it. They're cheaper than the Front Runner, but also don't appear quite as versatile. And FWIW, Front Runner doesn't technically list their racks for the latest gen Super Duty either. It says...

    2017+ F350 RTT Mounting Options

That does look like it would do exactly what I want it to. The quick release system is pretty sweet too. If I could adapt that to the mounting on my M416 it would make it even easier to move back and forth, as I do plan to use the RTT on both still. I could build something for quite a bit...

    2017+ F350 RTT Mounting Options

Planning on ordering a 2018 F350 around the first of the year, and would like the option to mount my existing RTT to it. The RTT is currently on my M416, but I'd like the ability to move the RTT over to the truck, as we have plans for several 3-5k mile road trips that the M416 just isn't cut...

    Salvage WJ?

The new tires would be a concern to me too, given other components of the situation. Easy to hide funny wear patterns from a tweaked unibody with new tires.

    Salvage WJ?

It's PROBABLY okay, but given the amount of damage it would have taken to total it out, and it being a unibody, I'd be very hesitant.

    Baby Glock

Have a G26 as my CCW as well for lighter clothing, carry my G19 in more jeans and hoodie weather. Love both guns. The G26 does tend to climb out of my hand a bit as I go through a mag. If yours is a Gen4 it should have come with different backstraps that can help with that. I also got a...

Why don’t more people take the WK2 overlanding?

No QuadraLift on mine, but it did have skids, tow points, and 4Lo. I'm of the opinion in that an overlanding situation, you want the rig to be overbuilt for the trail. Sure, we got a WK2 through Black Bear Pass, but my ZJ on 35's breezes through a trail like that. The amount of effort and...

Why don’t more people take the WK2 overlanding?

Our WK2 was one of the best highway cars I've ever owned. That little Pentastar V6 was more than enough power even going through the mountains of CO.

Why don’t more people take the WK2 overlanding?

I owned one for 3 years, I know plenty about it and have been wheeling for close to 20 years. They're just not that good. Load them down with gear and they're even worse. If you want just basic dirt roads sure, but if the terrain gets much rougher than that you'll find the platform lacking...

Sounds pinion related to me as well.

Why don’t more people take the WK2 overlanding?

Low ground clearance, fully independent suspension, horrible approach angles. Just not a good base platform and almost no aftermarket support. We had a WK2 that we wheeled a little bit. Did a lot of the trails around Ouray/Silverton, basically everything except Poughkeepsie. It was slow...

    ZJ vs WJ

While they do beef up parts of the unibody, I have yet to see a product out there (other than long arms) that addresses the biggest weak spot of the ZJ unibody, which is the UCA mounts. Does not take much to rip those off with a small lift and increased tire size.

    ZJ vs WJ

There was a 3rd option that, to my knowledge, only one dealer ordered. One of the dealers in Boulder, CO ordered most of theirs with the sunroof delete package. An odd thing for sure, but due to the slightly taller seats in the 96-98 and the headroom that the sunroof takes up, it's the only...
