I recently ordered a RIP kit. I called and the phone was answered immediately. I spoke with John and got the info I needed. I sent in the form. I called again an d the phone was immediately answered by Jesus. He took my order and it was here in 8 days. It was a great experience! It...
We're having a local fabricator build us a rear bumper with swing arms from steel. Long term, I just can't see aluminum holding up with as much weight as will be on it. I'll be posting pics after it's complete. We're going aluminum up front where weight is more of a concern.
Duuuude!!! You guys just get better and better each season. We hope to do the Prudhoe bay to SA ourselves in a few years. We'll be in a 4wd Sportsmobile that weighs about 9000lbs. Did you guys run across anything that would be a road block for us due to size or weight?
These inline 6's plus a turbo = Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!:wings: They are very easy to work on also. With the 4.88 gears you won't set any speed records, but shouldn't pose any issues. When I was a kid, all the school buses were inline 6's.
Got the new tires and wheels. 18x9 Fuel Trophy with anthracite rings and Duratracs. My wife actually picked them out. I'm a lucky guy to have a woman with such taste!

Those look like a copy of the original Con-Ferr mounts. Those were stout and rock solid. Glad to see someone is still making them. These are a bit pricey, but look like a good option. The bolt points down, so there is no nut or threads sticking up...
I love seeing these pics of the high roofs! We're sure digging ours. They don't seem to get as many oohs and ahhs as the penthouse roofs, but it's sure nice to be able to walk back and stand up at any time!
I'd like to have some small outdoor speakers on magnet mounts that I can use in camp. Does anyone here know of a weather proof fitting with a plug or cap that I could use to plug the speakers into when in use? Thanks for any help.
The fridge is now sold. We're holding off on selling the tent at this time as a relative has expressed interest. Since we got our Sportsmobile, it's time to get rid of a few things we will no longer be needing.
RV-4 Oztent with 1 sidewall for the awning portion. The wall will fit on either...
It's finally home! This thing was even better than we had hoped. It had a bit of wander to it on the uneven pavement, so we had John and Chris at Off Road Innovations in Winchester VA take a look at it for us. We had them replace the ball joints and one tie rod end. This cleaned up the...
