We're having a local fabricator build us a rear bumper with swing arms from steel. Long term, I just can't see aluminum holding up with as much weight as will be on it. I'll be posting pics after it's complete. We're going aluminum up front where weight is more of a concern.

These inline 6's plus a turbo = Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!:wings: They are very easy to work on also. With the 4.88 gears you won't set any speed records, but shouldn't pose any issues. When I was a kid, all the school buses were inline 6's.

Those look like a copy of the original Con-Ferr mounts. Those were stout and rock solid. Glad to see someone is still making them. These are a bit pricey, but look like a good option. The bolt points down, so there is no nut or threads sticking up...

I love seeing these pics of the high roofs! We're sure digging ours. They don't seem to get as many oohs and ahhs as the penthouse roofs, but it's sure nice to be able to walk back and stand up at any time!
