That's awesome! I was looking at the same HVAC unit for mine.. just sends chills up my spine to think about cutting a hole in the bottom of the RTT. But that looks like the way to go, anxious to see the completed project and some results of field testing. (y)
I like the idea of magnets in the legs. Right now mine is held in place during transit with a strap that tightens around it and the drawer. Works fine but I like the magnet idea better.
Would you mind posting some photos? I have yet to receive my kit and from the photo posted above I am still not 100% sure where this brace is located. I have an idea but not 100% sure.
I get it for the production option. I'll say make the water tank available and not ridiculously priced and count me in. I bought a 21 gallon tank to put inside the rear area and its just too big. I would gladly look at alternatives. Thanks for the feedback. Again, nice work.
Also for those of you who have installed this fix, how invasive is the tear-down required to install it? Example; the wires that run from the 7 pin back through the tongue and out to he back, do those need to be pulled? I'm assuming the tongue box and top plate have to be removed?
