Cooper STT Pro for my LR3

Tell me more about this warenty! I blew up two brand new GY Duratracs sidewalls on the last trip. Goodyear & Walmart did nothing for me. Next set for me is also STT-Pro OR BFG KM2 so following closely....

    First mod to an LR4?

Agreed on not needing the 2nd battery w/fridge. Same experience here with my Dometic CFX40 fridge. Absolutely a game changer in everyday life. Works great on the boat, back porch, and when staying with family.

Buying an LR3 - HSE/SE HD package with rear locking dif a must?

I had an LR3 for 8 years without rear locker and then added an ARB rear locker for the last 2 years. The locker doesn't make additional terrain possible, it just makes the truck work easier on the same terrain. good luck with the search... Get tires and rock sliders 1st.

    2007 LR3 - my 10 yr build thread...

Thanks. I appreciate the link. Im going to replace mine soon and havnt had the time to research the options. From a quick browse of google results the "Yellow" are 2X the price of OEM black. I might just go with OEM - i got a good 140K miles (and counting) of hard driving and the only issue...

    2007 LR3 - my 10 yr build thread...

Yes I knew Bilstein's are traditionally yellow, but didnt know they own the exclusive rights to that color and every LR3 strut I had seen todate is black. I never knew that the dampener and airbag are interchangeable. Where did you find these?

    Which LR3 to buy?

In North America, all the LR3s have the same seats. with 5 or 7 seats being the only option. At least for the 2005-2007s that I know of. Some had driver seats have adj lumbar support, but that seems inconsistent across SE and HSE and more about when manufactured. There is some differences in...

    Which LR3 to buy?

HD (ie Locking rear diff) is a very rare bird. The ARB locking diff are readily available from Lucky8 for $2k each. I think the Manual ARBs a better option than OEM "random" on/off shocks to the drive line. Id take a tablet, Garmin, storage, place or anything over the factory Nav w/4x4 info...

Roof rack front runner or genuine

Prospeed makes a really nice low-profile rack! That would be my 1st choice if I didnt already have an Expo rack w/recessed lights like the G4s.

    LR3 Hub options?

"hub" same as "Wheel bearings"? If so, I got 100K miles out of my front set while wearing much heavier 32" GY duratracs tires. Rears are original with 140K miles. When mine got any play in them the lugs in the Duratracs rubbed in the upper A-frame.

    An LR3 on the Rubicon

Like most of the vehicle, its wasn't primarily designed for offroading. The hydraulic sway bars primary purpose it to sense cornering situations and tighten up by closing the valves. Then on straight roads it opens up to more gently absorb bumps. It does unlock when the Terrain Response is...
