I have the same problem with Amazon links on this site. They are either a non-clickable Amazon logo or a blank spot.
I've used a Taylor wireless thermometer before. It's a lot bigger than the OP's choice but it's also half the price...
Me too. It's out in storage but next time I'm out there (when it's not over 110) I'll try and stick it in a Tidy Cat bucket. I don't think I spent much time trying to get it to fit last time so maybe buy using some of my old Tetris skills I can put it in there.
I'm usually up in the mountains when I heat the water that way.
My Zodi came with the bag as well and I couldn't get mine to fit in a Tidy Cat bucket so I got a 5 gallon bucket from Home Depot. Plenty of room for everything now. I'll look into painting it black.
I have a Zodi Hot Tap. To get the water hot I place both hoses in the bucket of water. The intake passes the water over the coils and the spray hose pumps it back into the bucket. When the water gets to the desired temperature, take out the spray hose and shower away.
I was driving through Mississippi one time and passed a car with a whip antenna on the rear bumper. It had a rebel flag at the top which was weighing it down and the antenna was sticking out around 6 feet behind the car at about roof height.
I have an older lead acid battery Goal Zero. The battery finally died last year and I was able to take the top off and access the battery. For around $100 I was able to buy a new battery and install it. Looking at photos of the Jackery it looks like the side comes off for battery access...
I got mine yesterday. I was supposed to get it Wednesday but it went to New Mexico first.
It looks pretty good. As a bonus it even includes Bahia Kino and the surrounding area.
GMapTool or GPS File Depot doesn't have topo maps that will work? I downloaded maps from GPS file depot of my state and used MapInstall to add them to my Nuvi.
Why not get a Garmin Nuvi or some GPS like that? I have one with a 7" screen. It's easy to download topographical maps and switch from the included street map to whatever maps you have downloaded. They are even capable of being run on battery if you want to take it out and about. Of course...
Yes. I own three and haven't had any problems with them. I also have an old Scepter MWC and while I haven't compared them side by side, they seem to be built the same. Plus for half the price of the Scepters, how can you go wrong.
While not made by Scepter, these water containers are made by an actual military contractor and made in the U.S. If you order 3 or more shipping is free.

Last year I bought an Alpicool 15. It's small, only 16Qt but good for picnics, overnight trips, or small grocery runs. It's been running 24/7 in my garage at 29 degrees Fahrenheit, and keeps plugging along. I've thrown it in the back of the Landcruiser and driven down fairly rough roads and...
I have them on my Land Cruiser and the other weekend I went down a trail that was rocky and steep and full of ruts. I went down the road for about a mile until I realized that the road wasn't getting any better and I had left my recovery gear at home. So I turned around and went back up to the...
