How much do you really get out

I've been trying to get teardrop campers out of my mind for about three years now......you guys aren't helping my recovery one bit with threads like these :D!

    '03 Tacoma Build

I used a level and tape to measure them last night with 38 psi in them. He may have been running a higher pressure? I'm now toying with the idea of putting a shell/topper/cap/whatever on it. It would be nice to have when hauling our products and I'd also like to come up with a sleep platform...

I'll have to measure them. They definitely appear to be larger than the Duratracs. *edit - not close with the weight of the truck on them, 31-1/8" front / 31-1/4" rear. Not quite as bad as my old KM2's were, but still short. Maybe if I throw 70-80 psi I could get them closer to 32".....

    '03 Tacoma Build

Got the new 235/85R16 Cooper S/T Maxx's mounted up yesterday. So far I like them, running at 38 psi F&R and they are slightly rougher than the Duratracs on sharp bumps on the road (like overpass transitions). Nothing that really bothers me though. If I dropped them down to35 psi like I had...

    anyone bedline the interior

Possibly relocate it? I relocated some of the control modules in my old Tundra. Also mounted the amplifier under the passenger seat on 1" stand-off spacers to keep it up off the floor board for that exact same reason. Only thought on putting it in a sealed container is the heat generated by...

    atlas or stak

Atlas 4-speed. I've had Atlas 2 & 4-speeds and put over 50k miles on each with no issues at all. Not sure about now, but I have witnessed a few Stak's stuck in gear or not shifting and warranty work was like pulling teeth. The few people I've witnessed running stacks hated them. I would...

    anyone bedline the interior

I had the floor of my old Tundra coated by Line-X. It picked very little noise and heat transfer, the durability and ease of maintenance was well worth it to me. I really liked it.

I'm guessing you already did the slip joint tack weld mod on the steering shaft? It made a huge difference on tightening up my steering.

    '03 Tacoma Build

Duratracs started off quieter than the Hankooks, but now are louder. But in fairness I sold the Tundra with about 15k-20k on the Hankooks. Rain they seemed about the same, not sure how the Hankooks will do once they get some mileage on them, but the Duratracs are getting pretty slick in the...

I do, but I no longer own it. After a little over 10 yrs of ownership I decided it was time to get back to basics and bought an '03 Tacoma to mildly build - http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/18722-Petersons-Ultimate-Adventure-Tundra...
