This is perfect timing.
We're currently looking at Chalet, A-Liner, Rockwood/Forest River & Jayco hardwall pop-up campers.
I wasn't worried about the FJ, but was a little concerned about how our Tacoma would do pulling it :ylsmoke:.
Since most of the fence post above the spade section wouldn't be doing any work, I guess one could cut the post a couple feet above the spade to avoid carrying an entire fence post (for us space-challenged types).
When I replaced my serpentine belt (due to age/regular scheduled maintenance) I threw the old one behind the seat of my truck. It wasn't visually damaged and that's one item that could definitely stop you in your tracks on newer vehicles. A couple zip ties around it and it takes up very little...
Going off memory, I believe the Cooper's perform as good, if not better than the Duratracs did in the snow.
It may also have something to do with the new size that I'm running (235/85R16)?
Got to test them out on ice & snow this morning, nothing short of impressive :ylsmoke:.

I have seen differential housing abused for decades...
I've kept the drivetrain, engine, etc. stock on my Tacoma.
Thank goodness it came stock with a rear e-locker.
I've added some light trail armor, slight lift & more aggressive tires.
Yeah I couldn't get past that either, all that plastic is screaming to get torn to shreds.....looks like they were going for some funky fighter jet look or something.
I've ran a lot of popular brand tire over the years and I rate the Cooper S/T maxx's right up there with some of the best I've experienced.
I just got my 235/85R16's for $783.76 out the door (for four tires) at our local Discount Tire. I did get some credit for three of my Duratracs though...
17" wheels were always my preference. The 16.5" seemed too limited on tire options for us, considering how far we would travel from home it our truck. I can't remember the specifics about them now, but wasn't there was something different on the beads with the 16.5"?
