I'm waiting on my Howling Moon RTT to arrive and will be mounting it to a Gobi too. I didn't ask but I had thought it came with mounting hardware or was it just the bolts? I wonder if some Yakima clamps would work? Or maybe just drill holes in the cross bars for the bolts?

So, I went with an ARB 2500 awning. For only $9 more I figured I might was well get the extra 19 inches. When I get it mounted up I'll post some pictures.

What mounting bracket did you use for the awning? I looked at the gobi one but it looks like it wraps around the top rail and could interfere with a RTT.

With my Gobi rack on the way I am planning to get an awning for my JKU. The rack is 90 inches(2.3m) long so something like the ARB 2000 should fit without a problem. And I’m guessing the 2500 would be a bit longer than the rack. What length awning did are you using?
