    IPhone 5s as photographer's tool

This summer I rode the continental divide trail. I decided to leave my D300 at home and only bring my iPhone. While I occasionally missed the telephoto lens, I did not miss the 15 lbs of gear in my tank bag. For the most part the iPhone worked fine and was easily accessible in my jacket pocket.

Raingler Roof Cargo Net Added a roof cargo net by Raingler the other day. I put it over the back seats, well where the back seats would be if I had them :sombrero: It's came in very handy during the last trip as a place to store jackets and rain gear. Keeps things out of the way but easy to...

I've thought about the Gobi standoffs but have wondered how much stress is put on the hardtop. There's only 6 bolts holding it to the body and 2 up front on role bar. Also, If I use my soft top then I'm back to zero support.

Added external water/gas storage today The water jug has an external spout. This will let us access the water without having to move the jug from the rear of the jeep. When the tire carrier is opened the water jug swings out just enough to be on the outside of the RTT annex. Another advantage...

I am happy with the AEV 2.5 setup. Just finished 6 days of driving around both on and off road and the weight is being handled much better than with the stock Rubicon suspension. First, there is less sag when loaded. The Jeep is not affected as much by the weight while driving on twisty blacktop...

I think you are right. When I take off for 100% TbJ (Travel by Jeep) I'll switch the the heavy duty OME springs. Until then, I'll see how this AEV setup works. The part I liked about the AEV option is that they supply geometry correction. Maybe not a big deal but I'll never know as I've...

:yikes: - yeah, I had thought about that. I have a 12' door on the bay behind the Jeep which is where I store the RRT. You can just make out the hoist in the upper right of the pictures. The Before has the RTT hosted to the ceiling and the After has an empty hoist. So, when installing the lift I...
