I got a buddy that lives in GW springs. He was kind enough to hold my Scrambler while I was in Iraq. Not a lot there honestly but you won't be disappointed with the drive and views. You'll see some really strange terrain changes before you hit the border. Especially around the airport.

Thank you sir! The XJ has come a long way and today was sort of the validation of all my efforts. Took the jeep through state safety and emissions inspection and it passed without issue. Yippieee. Now I can get back to the bazillion half started projects knowing I'm roadworthy. [emoji41]

I've been a jeep addict most of my 44 years. I also suffer from a tooManyIdeas-itis. As in I get so many ideas that I end up with multiple (LOTS!) of projects going on all at the same time. Usually causing lots of lost time and wasted effort. My 01 XJ is a great example of this sickness...

I agree... At least you use yours for something. I just seem to "build" (and build and build and build...) my jeeps for events/trips/expeditions that never happen. Can't even claim to drive them around for fun. :(

I can't see how you'd need 8"s of lift to clear 37s. My 89 has used 3" springs up front, 1 ton springs out back with a 2"block and clears 35s (315s) perfectly. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
