I could have cut the inner fender well and made the tube longer, but I was being lazy. You could always build two and connect them in parallel for additional capacity, if you had the space? Another option would be to step up to a larger I.D. pipe. I would locate it as far away as possible...
Ha! That beach shot makes me jealous, I've always wanted to drive on a beach.......
I honestly would much rather be out camping, exploring, and riding the more mild trails than abusing my rig on the hard core stuff......that's too much like work :)!
We are going to be doing a lot more camping...
Ha thanks....the poor thing's had a hard life for only having 92k miles. All the timing belt parts arrived today, so I have my fingers crossed that it will be with me for at least another 92k :).
It's my daily driver and has seen 26 states. Ever since I've set it up for expo I've tried to be...
Ha....I just cried a little I think....about one second after that picture was taken the teeth started snapping off my front ring gear :). About 10 feet farther was the end of that trail day and the beginning of a very long night in a cow pasture somewhere in the middle of North Dakota.......
I've had a MSR PocketRocket for years and it's always done a great job, but ever since I got a Jetboil and started using the Backpacker's Pantry style food pouches the MSR has sat in my garage........

Here's my Informer BL outdoor temperature gauge set up, it's very accurate and was a breeze to install. The actual sensor is zip tied up in the front fender well -

I hade about 10k on mine, including many off-roading miles like the Rubicon and they still looked new.
They are as close to a perfect dual purpose tire as you can get, except size availability (for me 'cause they don't make 40"x17") and they are so excessively heavy. For me, the KM2's and...
I've actually been talking to Pitbull some lately. If you get a chance sometime, let me know what they measure out mounted up, my only concern is that they used to run a little small.
