I looked at the jumping jack trailers and for the $ I'd keep looking. The biggest issue is the quad or dirt bike in my case would be over the tent. And on rough roads there is always some fuel spillage,, the canvas would get damaged to easily with bike drool. I would have to modify the cargo...
I figured it wouldn't be sealed with a gate but was curious bout that. Looks like a great trailer. If I wasn't building my own I'd probably pick one of his up.. Does his lunette rotate?
Thanks,
Steve
Check your ride height,, that trailer is really old and if the springs are original they most likely are weak and riding low. If you go with a new set of springs and maybe a slightly longer shackle you should clear 33's. My 416 cleared 31 easy with very sagged springs,, you could always do a 2"...
The newer website is much better than his last one.. The trailers look great,, but the wheels in the pictures really take away from the look.. I'd suggest taking a couple pics with smaller tires and big mud tires too to show the difference..
Do they weld the cargo box onto the frame? or is it...
If you swap out the axle to a 3500# with jeep sized wheels, drop the huge landing leg roller thing you will drop some serious weight. I was looking at one to use the frame as a start point for a smaller box that would resemble a m416, just longer with a tailgate. Just haven't found one for the...
I'm sorry the asking price is $450 OBO,, forgot to put that in. I should have better pics buy noon tomorrow too, gonna clear off the snow,,
Thanks,,
Steve
FS-m416 trailer in decent shape, has some rust but mostly surface rust. Some pits in the bed go thru but the bed is still solid, solid enough I was planning on welding the pits closed with a mig. Fenders are a little tweaked but still solid. Could easily be restored or made into a great...
I travel thru the park for work on occasion, yesterday going south about 4:30 pm I passed a mog going north(rt209) It looked to have a camper back and two spares hanging off the back. It was the newest style one I've seen yet, very squared off.. Was that anybody here??
Steve
The LJ should have a 3500# tow capacity,, the shorter TJ's had 2000#. The new JK 2dr is 2k still and the 4dr 3500#.
If you like the offroad popup did you see the element series? They are similar in setup but have smaller trailers, even one with one bed,, the neon,, GVW is like 1500 loaded for...
Back in college days I ran about 650 miles one night after school. From Blairsville Pa to Horsham Pa and back,, left about 3:30 in the afternoon and got back about 1:30-2 am.. Needed some notes for an exam that I left in my car, which was back home. All on a 83 LTD 440 kawasaki..
Oh to be...
