In practice, it'll do worse. Go back a few pages, I posted my real world experience with a TC650 in a 2011 Ecoboost F150. I guess it makes sense if you do a lot of driving without the camper, but once loaded, the efficiency took a huge hit (avg 10-11mpg). I have an F250 now that is worse empty...
