    2005 Suburban Expedition Vehicle.

Yes Martin, there is. I posted up a writeup here on Expo when I did mine, and also over at Z71T-S. I can not find the one here at the moment, but CLICK ME for the one I posted over at Tahoe-Suburban. And also, here is a build thread for someone who has followed my writeup successfully for his...

    2004 Chevy Tahoe Z71 Front/Rear Bumper option

That is the long ago discontinued PIAA Lower Valence, made for the Z71 GM truck package for 2000 to 2006 trucks. Guess you would need to haunt GM centric forums and eBay to find a used one.

Expo style rear bumper build for a Sliverado 1500 (GMT-800)

Great looking start, I can't wait to see how it turns out. ;)

    2005 Suburban Expedition Vehicle.

Welcome back. I would seriously consider replacing all the brake lines if you lost the brakes already. I have been there, done that. Classic Tube makes an entire replacement stainless steel brake line set for our trucks that is worth the money. If you have access to a lift and can get the body a...

Finally - The Snorkel is on the Avalanche

    2002 Tahoe "Expedition" build

Thanks much Tony, actually I traced my breather tubes and found they were fairly high up. The front was up on the firewall while the rear was near the gas cap, which seems high enough for my uses. Thanks, I had not heard of the "lunch box" locker yet, will look into it. I am very familiar with...

2003 Suburban 1500 Pop Top Conversion

Yep most of the photos you have posted are visible. There are a couple missing in post #53, maybe one missing from a trip, another missing of the pop top project itself. I admire your project, cool stuff.

    Sleeping Arrangements

Slept well in the back of my Tahoe once I unload a bit of my travel gear. I have magnet mount window screens to cover the back windows and then just close the liftgate at bedtime.

    2002 Tahoe "Expedition" build

According to my code sheet I do not have a locker in back, unfortunately. I have taken her out West, it has been too difficult with work the past few years to schedule the solid 2 weeks to get back out there for another visit. My tentative plan is to just relocate out there in a few years. I...

    2002 Tahoe "Expedition" build

Thanks Martin. Yes it was a LT Tahoe to start. Of course I did end up losing the Z71 style airdam when I switched to the ARB bumper, but that was the only Z71 appearance part I had added to the rig. It is an easy switch to do, the air dam switch was easy, just had to find some aftermarket round...

    REBA

+ another vote for the one on the old Army Blazer. Nice looking rig you have there, keep up the good work.

    2002 Tahoe "Expedition" build

Martin, I am not sure what is up. I can still see the photos, and I know I am only at about 18% of the allowed content storage at Photobucket. I just tried to sign into my account and they are showing as "down for maintenance" at the moment - 1315 hrs EST on 29 Jan 16

    2002 Tahoe "Expedition" build

Thank you. I do like the bumper, it has held up well. That said, I did have to clean it up a bit after getting it, there was weld splatter on it, sharp edges, and a single coat of paint. I do seem to be in the minority as there are many unhappy customers out there on the internet, and I think...

    5.3L misfire diagnosis

If you do end up finding that it is a knock sensor issue, it is a half day do-it-yourself repair, you have to remove the entire intake plenum to replace them. Don't want to guess what a shop would charge to replace two small parts like that. I hope it is just a plug/wire/coilpack issue as they...

    2002 Tahoe "Expedition" build

2015 - 2016 updates A minor update I did was to completely rebuild my Hi-Lift jack. It had suffered greatly riding on the back of my bumper and I questioned whether the thing would still work safely or not. I got a pin rebuild kit and stripped it down, and repainted the body of the jack and got...

    2002 Tahoe "Expedition" build

Sorry folks for the delay in responding, I had no idea it had been so long since I took time to review things and respond. As always, I sincerely appreciate everyone's kind words and compliments. Replaced the tie rod ends with Rare Parts versions, they are mentioned in this thread back in late...

Suburban/Tahoe owners what size tire do you run?

2002 Tahoe LT with the 5.3L V8. 3.73 gears, 2 inch coil spacer lift with F150 torsion key crank. Nitto Terra Grappler 295 / 70 / R17 tires. Also have the BlackBear Performance tune that I love. They actually rode around in my truck with their computer connected to the OBD port and tuned the...

    All-Purpose Scout 80 build

I really love what you are doing with this build. Make sure you replace the exhaust manifold bolts with something stronger than just factory ones when you do the replacement manifolds. The factory ones like to snap off. Often in the heads. :(
