Man they are such cool animals. They can be super chill and just hang in a tree all day. Good luck on your hunt, new areas can be super challenging. Thanks guys, really appreciate the good words. End of the day this is just a good old truck making it happen. My little brother came for a...

Out with the folks on a day trip, these guys are pounding food on westside rd at the moment. Trying to put on some weight for the winter. Folks are in their late 60's and early 80's and they are still down for an adventure. Hope I am the same when I hit that age. First time I've ever seen...

This cow would not get out of the way. Followed her for nearly 2km Dinner going on Love this little pathfinder pan, Morning sits, starting to cool down now. Hard to make out but there is a bull moose in the trees 60 yards away. Called it in from nearly a km away. 3rd porcupine we've...

You won't regret the chuck box, that's for sure. Thanks for the good words. No doubt. We live in suburbia and definitely get some looks when a moose is hanging from the rafters.... Soups on Watching deer again We made a new addition to the gear this last trip. This 11L water jug...

^such a great trip. This is the 3rd year now that I've scheduled myself for 2 day work weeks for 6 weeks straight (hunting season). All of Oct & half of Nov, we are only working thurs/fri. Might be the best schedule ever. Just getting back from another 3 days. Wish we could have hung this...

^ agreed, forgive my moment of weakness haha. The 33x10.5 ko2's is definitely the choice. Back at it, Grouse for thanksgiving. Wish I could squeeze one more hook in here for the .22 First night out and nearly a full moon. This photo was taken under just moonlight. Next am, Wife had a...

Yeah, if I'm being logical a mud terrain just isn't the tire for this truck. Especially on snowy pavement. SST's are really pricy if I remember correctly. I'll likely stick with the 33x10.5 KO2s

^ they were, as far as I'm aware. These are the same dimensions but in a more conventional design. I'm completely torn on which direction to go. There is almost zero info/reviews on the 7.5's out there. I think they would work awesome on some 6x16" jeep rims. A guy I was talking to was joking...

Oh* before I forget. I would love some opinions on tires for the new set up. I'm wavering between these 3 options" 33x10.5/15 BFG KO2's 255/85/16 BFG KM3's 7.5R16 BFG KM3's I would love to stick with the KO2 but unfortunately it doesn't come in the second two sizes. Ideally I'm in the...

Same place, bunch of does this am but no bucks to be seen Mid aft grocery shopping, With an ostrich egg Shaggy The truck has a much better stance with the rear up a bit. Several times during this trip we were driving through drainage ditches/washouts anticipating the typical trailer hitch...

Both, I never really thought about it before but they kind of go hand in hand. Nice, hope it was a good ride out. That sounds like a great trip. Nothing like fresh fish & game meals while camping. I can only imagine how awesome that was listening to the elk in the evening. They are such unique...

Shoot I'll be in the bush for those days returning late on the 6th. Safe travels. Knocked off a few more quick things tonight. 8.8 now has lines. The rear has always sat level or sagged just a bit when were fully loaded for a trip. I've had some 2" lift shackles on the bench for a minute and...

First I needed to correct a mistake... I had to chop this mount off, clean it up and reweld it. I messed up the angle by almost 8*. Got a head of myself and fully welded it out before double checking it. What a pain. Lesson learned, tack, check, check again and then burn it in. It turned alright...

Picked up the heads from the machine shop. First place completely messed up cutting the seats and grinding the valves. The leak down was brutal, so glad I tested it. They are mint now. Feels good to make some forward progress on this. Need to get the pushrods measured and order some, that's...

^The 201 is a nice drive for a stock vehicle. It'll take you from Penticton to Joe rich along the east side of the lake. Couple of nice hikes up in that area as well. Another good one is Christie falls up bear main, nice drive and a short hike into the waterfall. Let me know when you'll be in...

I decided to build my own Pop Top camper

Awesome photos. The truck looks great with that wheel/tire combo. I had a similar issue with condensation. I wrapped all of my exposed frame in closed cell foam and it help tremendously.

Awesome^ that's funny about the blackberry. The provincial campsite is actually really not bad along the river. It's not our "dream" camping spot but it's a decent launching point for all of the sights nearyby. It's been a pretty productive two weeks. Picked up a beefy IRO double shear track...

^ that's funny. Typically bugs in southern BC aren't terrible. We get fairly dry hot summers which usually burns them off quickly. If they are bad we either hit the water or hide in the camper. We did a quick canoe trip up Clearwater lake last weekend. A good buddy of ours and his girlfriend...

Went for a quick drive into the hills Couldn't help but notice this puddle full of tadpoles. This was up around 1650m elevation. These poor guys were going to be dried out if they didn't get some rain soon. We hiked up to mirror lake. This was either alpine or sub-alpine, been meaning to...

Thanks, can't really complain about much over here. Nice! That must have been an awesome trip. Bella Coola is on our list for the future. Wow nice. I would love to do that trip. We haven't been overseas for 3 years now. Thanks, living the dream sporadically. Life seems to be a bit to heavily...
