    Arkansas Fall Foliage Frolicking

Wes, That is a great attitude and what I think makes an outing of this size that much more special. Sure it is a lot of extra work and you can't possibly cover the ground that is intended, but just that many more folks will be able to enjoy a weekend in the back country. Jacque

Yep, should have posted a little about it to begin with... We took this in on a trade in, the previous owner has been a customer of mine for the last 4 years. He did most of the modifications and barely used this thing. 2006 with 49,788 miles when I bought it, which was about a month ago...

5TH gen 4RUNNER ARB air lockers available!

Mike, I can relate and understand your point of view. I don't want to start an arguement or manufacturer bashing thread. I know that waiting for the aftermarket to catch up to the vehicle manufacturer can be frustrating. However for a company that founded its name on air locking differentials I...

    rear bumper

I'm Pretty sure Jason Demello has done a few. You might also try CBI Offroad, and for something closer to home Justin at Rocktek in Grapevine, Tx could do a custom build from his rear bumper Jacque

Hey Jamie, If you have a manual transmission go with 4:56s, for an auto I think the 4:88s are spot on. Jacque

    1998 supercharged 4runner

The S/C and 4:88s work very well together on and off the trails. Plenty of power towing my Outlander trailer. I'm able to cruise at 70mph at 2500 RPMs. Fuel economy with the trailer and truck fully loaded is 14mpg. Without the trailer, truck fully loaded I get 16-17 mpg. Jacque

    1998 supercharged 4runner

I'm not looking to part it out right now, if it does not sell then I'll hang out to it and use it. I don't know what I will get. If I was going to buy something tomorrow it would be an LJ. Thanks! Jacque

    The more important locker!

Mike, Personally I would ditch the rear LSD, in favor of a rear locker over a front locker/ rear LSD. In my experience the LSD is too unpredictable. You would benefit more by having just a rear locker compared to locked front/lsd rear. My 4runner is only locked in the rear, but I'll lock the...
