I have the ARB RTT and it is great for a fixed location. After a few times though I invested in an inexpensive ground tent for when I know I would want to leave camp every day.

My 2021 it folds flat. Best of both worlds. Those that need seating get it, those dont need it can fold it flat and it is always there if they need it.

I had Bluetec in my ML350 for years (sold it earlier this year). Got about 25mpg, and it ran great. But I feel a similar engine in a P/U or SUV would be underpowered.
