I woke up early Saturday morning and Kiley heard me so she jumped out of bed ready to go. We tried to wake my Mom up in her tent but she had already headed out for a morning hike. Kiley and I walked around a bit and got some pictures.
Then we hopped in the truck to do some exploring.

Rocco already tired, he's not even that old but man does he like to lounge.
This was the 1st trip with the Kodiak Tent and we absolutely loved it.
Meadow across the road from camp.
Took an afternoon walk down to the river.
Louie wasted no time jumping in and getting wet.
Highway 191 is the windiest road I have ever driven. Most of the road allows for 25-35 mph but you get a few sections to stretch your legs. Our friends had a little one also so there were many last second potty breaks and pulling over to let them catch up.
Had some Turkey cross the road in...
I had been wanting to do a trip for my birthday camping somewhere for a few days. I ultimately decided on the Black River area near Alpine in the White Mountains of Arizona. My mom came in from San Diego to join us on this trip and some other friends came along also.
We left Tucson Friday...
I work in the lumber industry. This whole dirt/dust/mud thing has already gotten out of control. There are numerous builders that will fine the contractor if any trace of dirt is tracked onto the street in a developing subdivision. It has gotten to the point that most companies have to have...
Great pics from Chivo. I haven't been out there in quite a while (got kind of burnt out on it) but it sure is nice with all the water out there. If you really want to see green head down near Patagonia, it is greener than I have ever seen it right now.
That sounds like a logical explanation. I only looked in a few and didn't notice any termite damage to the wood but maybe they were pesticides that worked.:ylsmoke:
Thanks, it was one of those days that wound up being perfect in every way. Unfortunately my daughter was asleep when we saw the tarantula, it would have been her 1st.
That is my friend truck. He bought those kayaks at Costco recently and I am not sure on the brand. He did mention that they ride very well and he hasn't had any problems transporting them that way.
We decided to take our daughter on her 1st kayak trip to see how she would do on the water. Saturday morning we headed down to Patagonia Lake in Southern Arizona and met up with some friends. As soon as we got there it started raining. Luckily the rain let up after a few minutes and allowed...
It has definitely been interesting learning how to travel with the little one. I think the best thing we did was start her out right away. She had been a couple of day trips after about 3 months old but we took her camping at 6 months old. She is now 21 months old has been camping 6-7 times...
Couldn't live without mine at this point. We don't have the RTT anymore but it still gets filled up with as much as possible. I don't worry about the weight up there as we aren't driving it like a sportscar and we don't do much serious 4 wheeling to need to worry about being top heavy. With 2...
Great interview, we loving travelling and camping with our 21 month old daughter, she's a veteran already and boy is she a handful around camp right now!!!!!!:Wow1:
He was standing about 15 feet from a 4 way stop inside Granda Canyon Natl Park. Saw him on the way in and he was still there on the way out. I stopped for a picture but when I did so did everyone else. I wanted a better picture but the crowd got out of hand so I left.
