Uscg as others have said thank you! I am sure you're bird was a darn welcome sight to those folks! Well done! We are fortunate to have folks like yourself and your team standing by to help when needed.
Is there a vocational school near you? Might talk to the head of the woodworking shop and see if it would be a project someone in a class would be interested in?
The reviews I have read on them seem good. I do think it depends on if you use it a lot versus only occasionally. I also think where it's mounted will matter. I doubt the seals are as good as a higher quality winch and water baths would probably end up causing more problems than a more fully...
I like the idea of a custom built cooler that fits tour exact space needs. Another way to do it might be to make a shell out of thin wood for the protection you want first and then install the foam. The wood will provide the structure you need for gluing set up time. Might want to have a drain...
Love the fuel tanks. I had a 40 gallon spare in the back of an old p/up I had and with 56 gallons great not to be able to outdrive the fuel capacity. I was driving MA-CO a lot then so it was great. Also great to be able to plan for gas prices. I use the Gas Buddy app now and can really plan for...
Love the truck! Nice score and nice work on the camper. I think a generator makes sense esp a little one like that. You might keep an eye on some of the sites for sales on solar panels as it's a good backup to have so you can be totally quiet. But you can pick your timing and not overspend. Good...
I don't know south like that (I'm just south of you in MA) but western MA had some spots- the Deerfield etc. Although on a long trip some times good to just get going on the trip so western MA may be better for day trips after you return. I know PA has some spots I just don't know where. I would...
Maybe have a storage place for the water heater that protects it and have quick connects for the water supply lines. When you get where you're going mount it/hang it on a bracket for use? Might be a better way that permanent mounting? But not sure the application so my idea may be stoopid. :)
Norda I'm not trying to be a d**k when I say this but have seen lots of times in Maine where an underground spring or seep makes one part of the road a total mud bog while 20 feet away is brutal tough to dig rocky soil. Not saying this product is perfect (no product is) and I also have no ties...
Thanks for this review. I want a big Oz Tent for space and ease of set up when I'm with a larger group (annual fishing trip with the guys), but I have wrestled with what to do with smaller group ( just me or me and the wife). This looks like a great option. Great detail and explanations. I...
Ditto this^^^ love the barn door Burb's like this. Gives a whole new meaning to the "back 40" with the seats down. Ha! Can't beat strong when you're adding gear (weight) and miles away from help. Well done!
