I have a pair of Danner Mountain Light, Red Wing, and older Vasque. The Vasque's I really love and have hiked miles with them, not sure the newer Vasques are to the same standard based on forum discusions. The Danner's I'm still breaking in, I think. The Red Wings were the most comfortable out...
I would agree with the above. I've been wearing Duluth Trading pants, various variants (flannel lined, etc) and they are all the most comfortable/versatile pants that I've ever worn.
I will 2nd this opinion around support/customer service. I had a minor issue with my JB and it was promptly resolved with no hassle even when I didn't contact the original dealer/seller. Big shout out to Rin at http://ok4wd.com who assisted.
Interesting that this thread also just popped up...
Kermit Chair Company has a nice table that I use. I don't have any real complaints with it. You might not like the height though if you are using it for cooking/food prep.
Regular, $80

Wide, $110...
Another thing to consider on this discussion is camping during normal camping season (campground mostly full, campground host, LE circulating around on some basis) and camping in the off season where you might be the only person around. With fewer witnesses around, a person who has bad intent...
Too me awhile to find it. I still have yet to order the fabric and build it. I don't see why this wouldn't work for the rear vs the side where I plan to use it.

I have a Kermit Chair out of TN and it is somewhat similar. No complaints at all about it and the price is, imho, reasonable.

I think that is just the camera angle since I have to squeeze between my truck cab and the front of the tent and then also holding the cell phone to try to get the picture. All 4 are the same size and used the same way.
Yes, I have found on the front portion where it is curved that it would...
Rope loops in use
As previously indicated, here are the rope loops that I use and how I actually use them when putting the tent down to tuck the material in.
re: 12v/DC cord
Adding this here just for reference for anyone. Not the part this thread started about.
=============
The dc cord is p# 10910076 and lists for $22.00. It can be ordered through 4 Wheel Parts or most 4x4 shops.

Rather than wait until next weekend to get a picture of them in operation, here is a quick picture of them and how I use them. This holds the tent so that I can tuck it in properly (or to my satisfaction).
I also use 4 rope loops (6-8" total) (1/latch) to hold it closed about 4-6" so I can properly tuck it. Next time I'm out (12/11) will take a picture and post as I put it down.
Probably need a new gasket, they are easy to get, replace, and cheap.... So far, I have replace 1x in about 2 years. https://www.amazon.com/Packaging-gaskets-filter-aluminum-coffeepots/dp/B000KGEU4Q/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1479306746&sr=8-2&keywords=bialetti+gasket
Thanks for the input so far. re: merino and it's cost, I'd rather be broke than cold/miserable. Also, learned awhile back to buy quality gear and keep it for awhile vs wanting to upgrade.
After camping this past weekend, I realized that I need to really step up my cold weather clothing. It wasn't that cold (30s-40s since I'm in GA). Rather than run out and get some stuff that may or may not work, thought I would seek some input here.
Stuff that you have that you really know...
While it's cool and all, technology has really come a long way (led vs coleman lantern, etc). Unless you really want to use it, I would sell it and buy something new.
I agree and will only be using this to charge the ArkPak that I have after 1.5 days of camping. Still have the solar system and will use it when I know I will be camping in field/someplace sunny.
