    OBI Dweller Review and Discussion

Only slightly off-topic. We are owners of a Conqueror UEV-14. My understanding is that they are distributed by the same folks in AZ that import OBI. Does anyone know if all this discussion of OBI being discontinued in the USA includes Conqueror?

    2023 UEV-14

Update on the shower head and duration of hot water. I replaced the stock shower head with an Oxygenics Fury. I let the Truma Combi Eco heat up for 45-60 mins. in boost mode and then got hot water for 2:40 and used about 3.5 - 4 gallons. The stock hose fitting did not fit the Fury but a visit...

    Death Valley Super Bloom

We had a choice at the end of March whether to head to the Moab area or DV. We choose Moab. Seeing your pics and reading your travel log, we could have choosen DV and been very satisified. Thanks for all your great pics and info.

Cook Partner Stove Owners Chime In!

We love our two burner Partner Stove. It is loud though. Anyone else have this same issue?

    2023 UEV-14

Gendlert, The UEV-14 USA comes with the Truma Combi Eco. ROA says it should have 2.5 mins of hot water, but we are only getting about 30 secs.

    2023 UEV-14

Quick post to report how much we are enjoying our Conqueror UEV-14. Our '06 Tacoma 4x4 with factory tow package pulls it just fine up, down, and all around. No sway and it feels solid. The only complaint is the gas mileage - 10 mpg, but we knew this going in. ROA has been good to work with...

    Bathroom or Storage?

We are just getting to know our new Conqueror UEV-14 with shower/toilet, or as my neighbor calls it, the shoilet :p. We bought it 4 years before our projected retirement. Before that we had an Aliner with a pull-out porta-potty I added. With just two nights under our belt, the shoilet seems...

    2023 UEV-14

Agreed. Everything else about the UEV 14 fit what we wanted.

    2023 UEV-14

Thanks for this. I might look at this as an option since it allows the rack to taken off and attached to the tow vehicle.

    2023 UEV-14

$5000. I forgot to mention the solar controller was upgraded from a 30A PWM to a 50A MPPT (in case I want to add more solar later, fixed or portable).

New Conqueror UEV 14 and heat distribution

This is exactly what I was looking for and couldn't find. Thank you very much!

    2023 UEV-14

While in the shop, I had ROA upgrade the batteries to five 105A Lion LiPo batteries. I also had them replace the solar controller with a Victron MPPT controller. Lastly, they wired the A/C and heat pump unit into the inverter so that it could run for a few hours offgrid. At home, I'm in the...

New Conqueror UEV 14 and heat distribution

ChasingOpenSpaces, we use both beds! Two of us plus two dogs. I have restless legs at night that otherwise would keep my wife up. The front bed is about a double I think and the pull-out bed is hair shy of a king.

New Conqueror UEV 14 and heat distribution

We bought the 2023 model. Just two nights in it so far, but we really like the layout with the bed layouts and the large, open dinette area. It's a very well-built trailer with all the features we need/want. We thought we wanted a campervan (and walked through many of them at Overland Expo...

How to lock a Cruismaster D35 hitch to vehicle?

I've seen the options to lock the hitch when not on the vehicle but not while hitched to the vehicle. Am I overlooking something obvious?

New Conqueror UEV 14 and heat distribution

I posted this over on the Conqueror forum but there isn't much traffic over there. We picked up a UEV 14 from ROA in early January. I drove it 800 miles home to western Oregon with our '06 4WD Tacoma with factory tow package and it towed very well. I installed airbags in the Taco before...

Looking for DIY independent trailer suspension information.

SlimTwo, So, if I follow correctly, the shocks are compressed too much at neutral stance? Or do I just need to add bump stops? Edit: bump stops, not dampner blocks
