I have owned a 40 (1973), a 60 ('87 with 5 speed, OME, and FF rear), and now a '96 FZJ80. I loved them all. The 40 had the most soul. The 60 had the most style. The 80 is the best truck - on and off-road. Horses for courses.

We have quite a number of AutoHome users (including myself) that have mounted their tents on their truck toppers. I do recommend that you install track systems, they seem stronger to me than individual mounts, but both types work and we have had no failures in the past 10+ years.
