    Expedition fridge

Just some food for thought... Engel uses the Japanese designed and built, Sawafuji compressor that has endured the test of time (50 years). Danfoss compressors, used in the ARB and National Luna, also has a great reputation. But the DF reputation is based on when the compressors were...

    Expedition fridge

I have an ARB and Waeco/Dometic. But from everything I've seen and heard, the undisputed, most reliable fridge is the old style Engel.

What have you done to your Land Cruiser Today?

The discolored plastic on your radiator often means the plastic is getting brittle. Toyota sells the top plastic piece by itself. Not sure how easy it is to replace though.

Drivability of 35" tires compared to 33"

I went from 35x12.5R18, wheel and tire combined weight of 115lbs to a 35x10.5R18 wheel/tire weight of 100lbs for a difference of 15lbs per corner… and most of the weight difference on the outer circumference. Acceleration/braking difference was quite noticeable. Easier off the line and...

Why Your Next 4WD Should be a Right Hand Drive

It's going to be another 5 years 'til I can import a RHD '95 Megacruiser. :smiley_drive:

    Roof Racks

I'm trying to understand why you're saying you can't ratchet-strap objects down on the FR. I have an African Outback rack that is similar to the FR and I most often use ratchet straps to secure loads.

    Webasto 2000 heater for $350?!

I believe Webasto Airtop 2000's are made in Germany. So, you would be buying a highly combustible cloned heater made in China.

Front Runner vs Eezi awn roof rack. Your opinion

Eezi Awn 1800 is already quite some weight on top. You can reduce roof weight (and expense) by using just the FR Load bars. Add a 3rd bar, if you like. http://www.frontrunneroutfitters.com/load-bars/roof-load-bar-kits/front-runner-load-bar-kit-toyota-land-cruiser-100.html#.VB9wkUvAqtY

Any experience with DieselToyz toyota conversions?

Rather than convert, I would focus my attention on importing a clean 1990 LC80 with the 1HD-T.... 25 years old, pretty soon.

Anyone that has owned a Kimberley Kamper or Adrenaline

FYI, KK uses Wax Converter Textile (WCT) brand Dynaproofed canvas for their trailers. I don't think any canvas can be mildew-proof, just mildew-resistant. Just make sure you order the heater so it can dry out faster. :) http://www.waxcon.com.au/dynaproofed-outback-rugged-canvas-tents.htm

Is this a new trend? RTTs on rental mini vans...

Jucy Campers are well known in Australia and New Zealand. It seems they are expanding into the US market. Apollo campers as well.... but with the bigger campers/motorhomes.

    Crazy Australians

But you can't really compare watered-down American coffee (that's been sitting on the warmer for hours) to other countries since most other countries wouldn't dare serve it that way.
