Lock & roll hitch in the uk?

I'd recommend the Max Coupler over the Lock-n-roll, a better design with no binding. Send me your shipping details and I'll run an estimate for you.

So this happened to me in Montana...

As stated accelerating is one way to stop fish tailing, the other is to apply the brakes to the trailer manually using the brake controller (electric brakes only), has the same effect straightening out the trailer.

The tent is very solid in high winds, no issues there especially if you nose into the wind.

No option yet, but it would be easy in install a mozzi net across the rear opening. We do plan a mozzi net room that attaches to the open lid that would serve double duty, it would also be possible to just screen the inside sleeping area.

Joel, I think some internal bungee cords will take care of the tent packing issues. I'll look into if there is an easy solution for the existing tents, but it's a for sure on the next generation. Closing the lid solo and the final stuffing may be a made easier with some slick use of the helper...

    AT Tacoma Habitat: Official Thread

Roger, unlike most camper shells the Habitat does not use a stock rear glass window, we produce a solid rear lift gate with two lockable closures, and the lift gate is sealed around the edges with bulb seal. That takes care of dust and moisture entering through the lift gate. The other point of...

    AT Tacoma Habitat: Official Thread

Don, the initial pricing was based on the prototype, I would have preferred not to release the price prior to us going into production but there was considerable pressure to get some idea of pricing from potential consumers. Once we went through the prototyping stage we made some changes in...

'14 Tacoma Suspension Upgrade - advice for beginner

OME maybe the best suspension for you. You can get it in regular and heavy duty, best to work out what your load is going to be and if you are adding bumpers and a winch. The kit is well engineered, it fits, and works well in the field. It would be my recommendation for springs, you could...

    1958 Austin Gipsy-British 4x4-

The Austin Champ had the Rolls Royce engine, I owned one in the 70's. The Gipsy had three different engines, the gasoline engines made by Austin, and also a diesel engine that I think was made by Perkins. The independent suspension in the early models was changed to leaf springs and live axles...

JK Habitat No Longer in Production?

Correct on both points. The gas struts are removable, but the lid has to be opened to vertical so they are decompressed, not really practical for a quick release.

The aluminum tubes attach to a steel ball via a quick disconnect. We set this vehicle up so the support went to the inside of the swing away. It can be set up to go to the outside corner of the vehicle.

JK Habitat No Longer in Production?

Sorry, we are not using Front Runner supports. The Habitat can be fixed to a roof rack and depending on the height of the towers the Freedom top panels could be removed. The set up as seen in the pictures could also be raised up for access to the panels, so many ways to achieve whatever you want.

JK Habitat No Longer in Production?

To answer a few questions. AT builds the roof rack We are working on access to the camper through the vehicle, but it will impact the sleeping area and increase the cost. The Vehicle Habitat will sleep two people at each end, so a 4 person RTT Weight is 240 lbs It fits directly to the stock...

We haven't tested your potential bear encounter, but the bear would exceed the 600lb limitation we have placed on the sleeping area. To place this in some perspective, and having lived in bear country for 25 years, a bear will break your RTT platform, tear the doors off you truck, camper...

How many watts needed from solar to maintain battery w/ Engel fridge

Looks like peoples answers are all over the place here. I'll add to the confusion. We tested the power consumption of the Engel fridge over ten years ago, we ran the test for a period of three months, taking daily reads of outside temperature, inside temperature and we use a Doc Wattson to...
