Nothing much inside those lids as far as structure goes. Gel coat and fiberglass over a paper honeycomb. The biggest problem is that the paper is meant to absorb the resin during production, if it doesn't absorb the resin and water gets in the paper honeycomb dissolves.
You can epoxy the hole let it set up, drill it to the correct size and re-thread the screw in.
For a quick fix, put epoxy on a match or small piece of wood and push it into the hole. Cut off any excess wood and put the screw back in. I prefer the second method.
IF you want to be able to move the camper around any easy way to do it is to stack up a few pallets below the camper body to get the required height and then slip in a pallet jack under the pallets to move the camper around. You can pick up a pallet jack for around $260.00
Just a note for clarification, AT has not supported the Flippac product for a couple of years now. In the past we had FRP make Flippac's for us that were more heavily glasses in stress areas to help with off-road usage.
We on longer offer this product and do not support it, we do not carry any...
It's not reverse polarity, LED's don't work it the leads are switched.
Sounds like something is faulty with the pre wired trailer, either the wrong gauge wire or something physically wrong with the wire or a connector.
Might be easiest to re wire the lights. Pull both positive and negative...
We used this solution years ago. All looked like it would work fine until the units started to turn themselves on and drain the water containers all by themselves.
There is a train of thought that the incursion of water is due to a pressure build up between the cab and the camper breaking the seal between the glass and the rubber seal allowing water in.
A front spoiler between the roof of the cab and the lower portion of the camper roof may disrupt the...
We have been looking into various ways to package the tent portion of the Habitat. It's too early in the process to release anything yet, we should have a couple of examples available for people to view at Expo West at Mormon Lake in May. Right now we are concentrating on the Habitat for the Tacoma.
Not all solar panels put out the same amperage in low sun light. This is really the test that should be done to differentiate good panels from average panels. In full sunlight most panels perform well. So the first order of business is too select a panel, I'd suggest a manufacturer like Carmanah...
We have had the top on and off fairly quickly. It requires undoing 6 bolts and disconnecting a electrical connection. We remove the top using a fork lift, but one person on each corner, or a chain hoist would do the trick.
On the Gen 2 Tacoma's the bed rail caps were removed to help getting a good seal and for attachment. Gen 3 Tacoma's are a little different we'll have to see what works best with that model. No other mods were make to the vehicle apart from adding some nut plates for attachment.
David, a little hobbling around, topical disinfectant, a new sock, and back to work. I'd already applied the glue to the floor joists and it was quickly drying. No peace for the wicked. The though of lockjaw convinced me to visit the local health clinic. Now I have ten more years of stepping on...
I'm sorry but I'm the one responsible for the delay in posting the pricing. I have a few more items to add to the build cost before we can make it official. I planned on doing that on Saturday and my day took a different path than I had intended. I took work home with me with the intention of...
