    Comeup Winches

I'm currently fitting the Comeup 16.5rs to my Ford F250. My ARB bumper is making the fitment interesting, but it's going to be well worth the effort. I'll post up a thread once it's complete in case anyone else wants to do the same thing. I really like the design of the Comeup winches as well...

Windows aren't for everyone, personally I like a rear window and a passenger side window so I can see what's going on when I'm driving, but it also decreases the vehicle security. The prototype has no rear window because you couldn't see out the back even if you had one, the gear on the swing...

    AT Tacoma Habitat: Official Thread

We appreciate everyone's feedback, everything is taken into consideration, we may or may not be able to achieve what everyone wants but it is discussed on it's merits. Making a roof that opened 30° or 45° would be an easier task than what we have accomplished, but our goal was a vehicle 2-4...

    ARB 50 QT -- Buyer's Remorse?

My criteria is that if you cant fit a bottle of wine upright in your fridge it's too small. That means the Engel 45, The N.L.Weekender, or the ARB 50qt is the only way to go. Personally I like the Engel, it's a no frills fridge that keeps working and keeps things cold. That's what I want from...

    Ventilation in FWC

Larger windows are not an option. Fantastic fans work very well and can circulate air throughout the camper. You can order two fans one over the kitchen and one over the bed. Opening the lower vents allows cooler air from the bed to be circulated. If you order through Adventure Trailers we'd...

    Question about RTT Flysheet Rods

Don't treat the tent with any type of spray. The material is treated with bees wax and it will loose it's waterproof properties. It sounds like you didn't first spray the fabric with water prior to going camping, the poly-cotton is going through the phase of absorbing the moisture, expanding...

Four Wheel Grandby in 2011 Ford F-350 - examples of paltform to clear cab?

I have a 3/4" rubber mat in the back of my 2001 F250 and I do not require a platform to clear the cab. I'd suggest taking measurements from your truck and from the camper first, you may find you don't need a platform. If you do need a platform I'd suggest building something that is a useful...

Timbren axles bent or out of alingment? Problems regardless...

As stated the axle is adjustable. A cross member is one of the options as is a gusseted L bracket. Depending on your chassis you will need to use one of these methods. If you fitted the suspension to a C channel chassis you will need to box the chassis before re-installing.

how do you get the tongue height that you want

If you are worried about departure angle the trailer coupler can be higher than the tow vehicle hitch and you can accommodate the difference with a draw bar. If you calculate trailer height based on the axle and springs then the calculation will be altered by the weight of the chassis and the...
