A lot of the Fiberglass travel trailer folks like the Cobb Grill http://www.cobbglobal.com/
It was developed in Africa and gets good reviews from the people who have used them.

1963 Thermos brand military single mantle lantern - Olive Drab green and in perfect condition. I also have a 1973 Coleman twin mantle lantern that I don't use anymore.
Late 1970's? Coleman 413G stove
1977 Snow Lion down sleeping bag (and a 1976 Snow Lion synthetic bag)
I miss my old eight man...
I scored a Thermos brand single mantle US Military Vietnam era gas lantern circa 1963 in absolute brand new condition at a yard sale last year for $20. Its OD green and works perfectly.
According to Ebay its worth $125.00 but its too cool to sell - makes my 1973 Coleman lantern look flimsy and...
My V-8 LR3 is getting around 13.5 mpg in town and between 20 - 21 mpg on the highway at 70 mph - better than my older RR Classics and a bunch better than my Series I Discovery.
Just rub it in ... we'd love to see the TDV6 on our side of the pond but our government is determined to protect us from tractor engined Land Rovers....
I've owned this 1966 tractor since 1978 - yeah I know its ugly but the original window sticker on this beauty was $4.575.90 in 1966 - more...
New lower price $5,800 - the longer this stays in the driveway the more work I'm doing on it. Checked out the A/c, interior lights and stove and everything is working great. I started replacing all of the water hoses today since they are thirty years old.
I finished installing the new chestnut pattern vinyl plank floor today - I would have done this several years ago but some of the materials for the job weren't available than. It looks great all trimmed out with foam core 1/4 round molding:
Here are a couple of pics of the interior - I'm not done installing the chestnut pattern vinyl plank floor yet - but this will give you an idea of the layout. I also have a 1-1/2" foam mattress topper for the bed area that really makes the bed comfortable.
You can see that the front bunks are...
Before this camper I had a Boler 13' trailer and it weighed around 500 lbs less than the U-haul. The U-Haul has double wall construction and a MUCH heavier frame since rentals were it's target market.
The frame is signifigantly heavier duty than the other trailers of this type and the big...
I'm selling my fiberglass U-Haul trailer because I finally found a trailer that I've been looking for for four years. the U-Haul is in great shape and has new side windows and LED Tail Lights. I'm installing a new vinyl plank floor over a 1/4" Hardi-board mold proof base layer this week.
This...
Check out Robert Davis' Mercedes 5 cylinder diesel conversion - its been discussed on Defendersource.
I've known Robert for almost thirty years and he has lots of experience in swapping engines into Land Rovers. He builds a well engineered, well thought out conversion kit that takes much of the...
The Germans are very clever....
Here's an example of what you can do with one of these - build a whole new frame for it and use 15" wheels for some more clearance
or just lift it and put on bigger tires
KEH is good people - I have bought from them on numerous occasions and never been disappointed - their rating system is conservative - "excellent" to them is "like new" anywhere else.
Most of my equipment has been bought used - the lone exception is my 24-70 F2.8 lens which is my most used...
I've been searching for an Eriba Puck to eventually do something like this with:
Today I acquired a 1989 Puck that is in very nice shape:
It's about 12' long and weighs around 700 lbs. - Queen size bed, sink, stove and A/C with a lot of storage - typical German efficiency.
It's like a...
