Nice! Living in the south... there are too many camo and bedliner painted older 4x4s that unfortunately aren't even just hunting rigs.
Love the interior! Would be nice to see a somewhat matching or complimenting exterior. What colors are you thinking?
I hope this doesn't mean the end of this thread.
Also! It was great meeting you at the Expo. Seeing your Jeep in person, the safari top, and all your gear was really cool. Y'all do great work!
I'm heading up from Texas. This has been on my list of events to attend for years and am finally going.
Adding jacket and tent annex with tarp to the packing list for rain.
Looks even better! I like the color-matched grill. Did the smaller wheel spacers bring the wheels in or were they to keep the same offset with the new wheels?
Finally did something I've been wanting to do for a while, remove the "Wrangler Unlimited" decals on the sides.
I think it looks a lot cleaner and simpler since everyone knows its a Wrangler and the Unlimited title really only meant something on the old LJs.
1.5" SpiderTrax Spacers & 287/75/17 E-Rated BFG KO2s.
Going forward, I want to try 1.25" spacers to get a little more of the tire under the fender (although it only sticks out <0.5"). Hopefully, it'll clear.
Wanted to also note in this thread these awesome door bins I've been running for a couple years now.
The first front set I bought just clipped in and would pop out with any ounce of internal pressure. These new ones though actually screw into the screw holes already there and have held up great...
Its been a while since I've updated.
After 6 years and 80k miles, it was time to finally update the worn out and rusting OEM rubicon shocks.
I took out the spring and shock spacers and put in a complete AEV 2.5" Suspension with Geometry Correction Brackets and it is a night and day difference...
I hate that more products don't have a dimmer dial or something similar. I stopped even using many alarm clocks because they lit up the whole room at night.
Ah nice! So basically the same thing you had before. lol jk.
Looks awesome! Have you done anything to it or were most of the modifications already installed? If so, how'd you gauge the level of wear and tear before/after you bought it?
I think a lot of people forget that ground tents, too, get wet and will require drying out later. Additionally, the ground tarp will be wet and muddy.
This is why I love our RTT. It isn't used often and is mounted on a trailer but when I do get to use it, I love being up high with minimal dirt...
