Got the suspension and axle in (not torqued), had to put a set of 30's on to squeeze it out of the garage. I'll clean the garage, rearrange my trucks then put the big tires back on and set the rideheight. With the ride height set i can torque everything down. Hydraulics and driveshafts to go!

Power steering pump is to be a hi flow TC pump from PSC and the master cylinder is the Mitsu 1" bore (from an AWD Sport with rear drum brakes). There is another master cylinder if this one doesn't supply enough volume for the Willwood calipers. It comes from a late 90's Dodge 2wd 2500, i believe...

    Which Ball Joint?

Just to remind everyone, i have ZERO involvement with Adventure Driven Design so if there are any issues I'm not the guy to contact. Back on topic, i think I'm going to try another set of OEM UCAs but this time from the UAE. I think there's less likelihood of me getting a new 25 year old part...

    1994 Pajero 2.8 Diesel 4 door vs 1985 4Runner

The transmissions are stout, the auto is the same found in a lot of Yotas. The rear axle is stronger than the Yota axle and the Mitsu IFS is stronger than Yota IFS. Stronger balljoints, tie rod ends and CV's HOWEVER compared to the Yota 8" front it's only stronger in stock form. Those 8" Yota...

I've had a few sets of Mark's gears, the quality is tops. I'll be getting a set for my '98 Montero V8 project. I just need to do the math on what ratio i should get, with the 5 speed auto I'll have a lower first gear and I'm only running 33's so the 2.72 gearset is probably the one BUT would...

...don't let me discourage you i'm just trying to give honest input on the swap, it's not easy but if being ************ were easy everyone would be doing it.

The front output will be in the driver seat frame, i have a 2" bodylift AND my floor is hammered into the seat base. I always tell people the 3.15's are cheaper, easier and typically more than enough gear for most people's uses. I'm still not sure 4:1 was worth it, the NP241 isn't as good of a...

    Which Ball Joint?

Three Fives makes really decent balljoints at a reasonable price, you can get them from eBay but i would also talk to Cruiser outfitters.

This isn't the thread for that, a 241 into a Gen 1 is a much different affair than into a Gen 2. I'd say read through my build thread but i doubt it's that helpful, probably "I'm installing a Rubicon case... BAM it's in". If you're serious, i can detail a parts list for you and tell you what to...

Always got your back dude! Hope some precision rings take care of business, manually centering wheels every time you pull one off will get old really fast.

You just bypass it, possibly even just works unplugged. I can't recall because it was so easy. The Hyundai 5.29 gears are actually for the Gen 1, the ones for sale were PA_JERO's and they were custom installed into his 9.5 rear diff and he fit the Gen 1 front diff in his Gen 2 to make it work...

I used a manual shifter from a late 90's mirage. I cut off the forward.throw and turned it sideways making the side throw become forward throw. It was a tight fit, i did a similar thing on my Gen 2 with a Galant manual shifter except since there was a lot more room i used the forward throw and...

I believe Stak went out of business and TWF bought the design updated it and made the Hero case, either way it is too wide to clear the Montero frame rail. The Atlas Is also much larger than the NP241, with a 3" body lift it still takes cutting a decent sized hole in the Montero floor to clear...
