That's good to know, the ABS light has been on since we bought it and I've never been a fan of ABS anyways. Looks like I'll be getting rid of that when I get a chance, thanks.
Thanks, one of the trays was from a mid 2000's Galant, the other was from a Nissan I think. I think I just used the support leg and brackets off the Galant tray, I re-drilled and cut some different parts. It's best if you can hunt the junkyard for a tray that's mounted on a fender well since...
I've been trying to find a good location for an aux battery for awhile now, but the engine bay is pretty tight. I wanted a deep cycle in the engine bay and not an AGM inside the cab too. I ended up buying a couple battery trays from the junkyard from various cars and making up a mount, also...
I have a steel bumper for sale. It was removed from a 2000 Toyota Tacoma, will probably work with other 95-04 Tacomas and possibly 4-runners. It's a weld-on bumper, but you could also make some plates for mounting. It's used, but still in good condition.
Price $100, located in Idaho Falls.
There's an area just to the left of the control panel/vent and to the right of the lid that you can run a ratchet strap over to secure it pretty well to the floor.
These also go by the brand name Alpicool, you can google them for more reviews or references. I've got a smaller version, they're actually pretty nice for the price if you don't have a ton to drop on a Dometic/ARB. The control panel is decent, with MAX and ECO modes, as well as L/M/H settings...
Does anyone know which wires on a 97-00ish will power the odometer to show mileage? I have a cluster that I need to check mileage for but can't find an accurate wiring diagram that isn't a blurry picture from an archived thread. I've done this with other clusters, usually connecting a ground an...
I do more on-road driving than off-road lately because I use the vehicle for work. One of the reasons I want to go from mud terrain 15's to some AT tires on 17's. Any pics from you guys would be appreciated. I wanted some 17" fj cruiser steel wheels, but found some 17x9 (look like pro-comp) at...
I have 15x8 / 4"BS wheels with 33x12.50's, but am looking at some 17x9's with 33's. Anybody have pictures of a similar setup? My 15's are very close to the calipers, when I get them balanced, the weights get ripped off when I drive away.
I'm not normally in this area of the forum, but I saw this 1970 Dodge camper van at the junkyard today in Idaho Falls, just giving a heads up here in case parts are hard to come by.
It looks really good, we have a 2nd Montero with really bad paint, thinking this is the best option. Do you recommend a good place to buy it from, and how much did you need?
Stupid question...I can't see where to access the front 2 body mounts, are they hidden behind something? Also, I have an SR so it has the 1" factory lift, do I removed the 1" bushing and add the new 2" block, or stack the new one on top?
Thanks, I checked mitsubishiparts too, but they're not always completely accurate with the descriptions. I guess I could just buy them and if they don't fit, sell them off.
