I've always mounted mine on the passenger side...mainly because it's on the passenger side of trailers.

I've owned a Gobi and a Frontrunner, both for different vehicles, but both EXCELLENT racks. You won't be disappointed with either of those choices.

Probably sounds strange, but I have 3 that I'll part with. I bought a second set so I would have a matching spare, and a set of 3 for the trailer I was building. The trailer build faded, so I have 3 wheels boxed and ready to go.

I wear my chacos all the time, and throw them in the dishwasher ( with the dog collars) every couple of weeks.

When I go camping, I use it to carry firewood in, and trash out. It's way better than having a stinky, leaky bag of trash rolling around in the back with the dogs.

The iPad mini is super lightweight. I also cut the ram suction mount down about 1" and glued the ball back on with gorilla glue. It works like a charm!

I've posted pics of the exterior, But I think I finally got the dash the way I want it. I have my iPad mini mounted with a Ram suction mount on the oem nav screen, Garmin Nuvi mounted on a proclip mount, and a proclip mount for my iPhone 6s Plus. All the Bluetooth goes through a hanzeek...
