Yeah, Toyotas and jeeps in Colorado go for a lot. The used car market in general is crazy these days. As long as you know what you're buying CarMax doesn't seem too bad. I only say it because I work across the street from CarMax and work on a lot of their cars and have seen some interesting stuff.

Idk where you are but where I am CarMax is notorious for buying decent appearing fleet vehicles from the the east coast that are ungodly rusty underneath. Maybe this bothers you, maybe not...but I'd give it a good check over before you take anything home from them.

Is there anything wrong with the springs? If not you could easily remove a few leafs to soften it up. Those old military leafs are pretty stout. Plus the longer ones tend to ride a little better.

Got a little done this week. Changed the ducting on the heater and added an intake for the heater. Now it will run without throwing an overheat code. It was actually the duct I had run inside, it was too constricting I guess. Sat out in the trailer while it was snowing and stayed pretty nice...
