lol... We were out today here in NJ. Got 2 big chain pickerel (+ a couple smaller ones) & a not so big-big mouth bass. We're determined to keep fishing even if we only catch a cold.

A lot of good info above. ^^^ After building up my 08 Rubicon, I'm now of the philosophy of less is more. Definitely spend some time with stock rig. The Rubi out of the box is super capable. You can use some initial $ to pay down your loan or get the gear for traveling (recovery, rack, etc)...

On the whole it's been good. I wished OME offered a more compete option (especially when you want to run 35s on the kit) - but that's where a place like Northridge stepped in. Unfortunately I built mine up before that was an option and kinda had to figure it all out & spend some extra cash...

I've run most of the JK OME coil sets (currently OME 618/619 coils with long travel OME shocks. With that said if you want to keep it simple go with the 616/617 coil setup and standard shocks. The standard shocks limit travel and I never had driveshaft issues. (auto/driveshaft issues came...
