We can do up to 39’ in length. But trust me, anything over 16’ and you need tons of space and equipment to move this stuff. Can’t lift them by hand anymore.
We make our own panel kits.
Couple more pics for inspiration :-)
Undermount storage boxes are most likely made of the same materials as the habitat. Wet bath is massive! Big U shaped seat in the back and lifting bed tucked away above the seating. Water system is almost done.
Are you keeping the lease springs? I will with mine… At least till I’m done with the outfitting. After that I will see how it handles. I can already see a huge improvement as I’m adding weight.
Took it out of the shop for the BC Overland rally…. Couple of mountain passes and 6 hour drive each way. No major surprises with the truck. Overall project is about 45% complete. Will get cracking at it again when summer temperatures in my shop drop below melting level…. :-)
I just learned a bunch on subframe, habitat and the Top Kick itself over the last 12 months. I ended up with a 16’ box and aluminum spring mounted frame. These truck have tons of frame flex. Feel free to reach out if you like to talk shop :-)
I feel your pain and totally understand what you are saying. Across the board costs are up, suppliers are struggling and employees can’t afford to live in places like bend , Vancouver Bc etc. Even paying them $40/hour isn’t enough anymore….
All the best and hopefully we all can find an away to...

Oh no! Sorry to hear that. Is there anything I can do to help you? We sell tons of the Autoterm 2D and 4D diesel heaters and to be honest, we rarely have customers reaching out for trouble shooting. That of course doesn't mean that they are perfect or the gold standard within the diesel heater...

It's Very hard to make the bed orientate the other way around while working with a limited interior space. The overall goal was to create a camper for smaller trucks with all bells and whistles without going over the payload limitations.
Cheers and thanks for the feedback!
Outpost campers ( Colorado) https://outpost-campers.com just released their walk through video! Looking at the specs, components and the $35,000 price, this camper will be a hot seller.

100%. Most smaller vehicles would probably be fine with a plastic recovery board on shorter trips. I have friends that got stuck in snow drifts and after two attempts, the plastic boards snapped.
As soon as you are dealing with a heavy 5 ton truck you need something that not only can carry the...
