You don't need special tools...just a press. Remove the entire box and rebuild on the bench. It's a lot easier to deal with this way. Merex should have anything you need.

Next time buy from Merex. They can get anything and better pricing over the GWagon, Unimog, PInzguar parts supply monopoly we have here in the states.

Run premium if you can't get ethanol-free.

You'll be very surprised @ the ability to smoke tire with the R2.8 and you MPG should be closer to 25-30mpg. You shouldn't have any issues getting parts for these motors for @ least a few decades.

For ventilation I use the little solar powered "fart fans". No wiring...you just have to cut holes. I'll try and find some pics for ya.

RedLine MTL will most likely cure your "crunchy" shifting...along with slower shifts. It's not your old S10.

The 1.5 to GVW idea is just that...an idea that works for certain situations. I can't remember last time I used a winch on a complete "dead pull" where you did not have the assistance of the the vehicle itself or the use of blocks. There is no winch out there no matter how big that can fix bad...
