Sliders might help with the beaming stiffness of the main rail, but will do little for the torsional issues. Flex doesn't = weakness, and stiffness doesn't = strength. With that said, I prefer my suspension to do the work.

    '10 Tundra CrewMax

Yes, that is frame flex.... typical C-channel. We are the only market in the world where Toyota has retrograded to an old style American truck C-channel frame.

Sorry, you will have to wait a bit longer for the full productions sets to arrive. Only two test sets of 4.88 gears were produced, the distributor was nice enough to give me the chance to try a set out. I'll be sure to let you know when they are available.

The Nitro 4.88 gears have arrived... so very shortly we'll be fully geared and locked. King Shocks is finishing up my first order, which includes some long travel internal bypass shocks for this rig. Pics asap.

Hello Jeremy, the winch works great. I'll see if the photos are still available. Most of the mods just made the winch easy to service - like the zerk fittings. A high performance motor does help it work faster, and a motor from an XP Warn is easy to modify to fit the Husky. I can supply if you...

    Haggis' Multi-Use Tundra Build

Yeah, that's a neat idea... truck looks great.

    2011 Tundra suspension ideas

You can let your budget be your guide. I use my truck in the same way you plan to... and have come to the point of reaching the top end of the market. King IBP shocks and my Jowett/Deaver Work/Play springs. The advantage of coil overs up front is the ability to change the valving and spring...

    New offroading truck!

A second gen Tundra will probably fit well. It is by far the most HD 1/2 out there.... beefy drivetrain, big brakes, great power....

The 200 series Land Cruiser KDSS active sway bar system has arrived. It will be a couple months before I have time to mess with it.... pics asap.

    2nd Generation Tundra Building

The 200 snorkel fits ok, good in some areas, not so good in others. It did required a little heating and reforming of the lower section to fit the fender acceptably, but there are still gaps. It is not something I would sell as a finished product. I'll snap some photos and let you be the judge...

    2nd Generation Tundra Building

The supercharger has the potential to produce better than stock mileage if driven with a nice right foot. I'd say towing mileage is about the same for me at this point.

    2nd Generation Tundra Building

Cory, with AWD, there are more parts moving that previously were not. So there will be wear and tear to those parts. I did not notice any difference in mileage, the EPA ratings for the Tundra and 200 series Land Cruiser are almost spot on, I think the Tundra might be rated slightly lower for...

    2nd Generation Tundra Building

Thank you. LOL, the only issue that existed was a low temperature (40ish F or below) stumble or power loss. A reflash took care of that problem for those that had it, I never did. No detonation or fuel issues exist since the ECU is flashed for the application, larger injectors are supplied...

    Replacement Seats

I am partial to Recaro for many reasons... fit/finish, quality, form AND function. The form of some other seats, well leaves a bit to be desired... don't get me wrong, I'll take function over form any day, but to have both is :wings: New they can be $$$$, but if one goes to a certain webpage...

Does the Prado (GX470) belong Here

It is Toyota's light(er) duty chassis, so IMO it would be best to post and talk about it amongst other Toyota vehicles that share the parts and components... Those being Taco/Hilux/Gen 1 Tundra and 4-Runner/Prado. I say that, but talk about 2nd Gen Tundra Trucks in that same 4-runner/truck...
