I stand corrected. We have Sam's latest roll charts and maps and have noted the change. We encountered a few errors in the roll charts (typos in the coordinates) and a few cases where the roll chart does not match the maps in OK & AK. We have made notes and will send them off to Sam when we are...
Whulp! We finally got a little internet access to post up our day 5 on the TAT. A fantastic day that took us into the four western states of Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Kansas. It was a day of vistas, discovery, interesting people and history. To read more here is the linky...
We're off to a great start and even bumped into some fellow Expo members on Osphir Pass...go figure!
We're not using a gpx file, we are using roll charts from Sam Correro who developed the TAT concept, a pelican case full of maps and fair dose of adventurous route choices. We are not...
We thought that our trek from the AT Overland shop in Prescott, AZ to the Overland Expo East outside of Asheville NC should be more interesting than simply pulling an Ironman marathon on the slab of asphalt across the country. Instead we have decided to take the longer un-paved path, essentially...
You may want to check out Northwest Overland Rally http://http://www.nwoverlandrally.com/ coming up June 26-29 as another venue to see trailers up close if the OVX date is not working for you. AT Overland will be in attendance, Kakadu Camping and I think VMI. This will allow you to compare...
We're glad to see the rising interest in trailers. It appears that their trailers take quite a bit of inspiration from our Horizon model and looks strikingly similar to the cub being offered by Campa USA http://www.campausa.com/#!cub/c1n6y, both of which look like this one being offered by...
Tenacious you are correct. Combustion air intake and exhaust must be routed outside always. The reference made in our video is specific to our portable heater adaptation of the Propex for which the box with the heater must remain outside and the fresh air tubes routed into the area you want to...
While the new 22" Partner stove without a lid will fit in the AT combo slide, you will not be able to operate it without removing it. This is the same for the SolCal slide. This is because the controls are on the face of the stove and not the end like the 18" stove that AT uses which allows...
You won't have to razz us for too long, awnings are in production and to ship out at the end of the month. We'll announce formally when they are in our hands.
Wade, thank you for believing in the concept and being a part of making it a reality through being an early adopter. We appreciate the patience given while we sorted out the details.
For those looking for a turn key vehicle and don't want to wait, this fine JK has just come up for sale on the AEV forum

A friend of mine is having some problems with the H55F transmission in his 60. It is sometime difficult to get into 1st as well as difficult shifting into 2nd. I suspect it may be the syncros.
Does anyone have a transmission shop recommendation in the Los Angeles area? Thanks!
If you want to build the cabin yourself but would like to have a proven chassis & suspension, you can contact us at Adventure Trailers for a chassis with the trailing arm air suspension, powder coated & pre-built for $3093. Food for thought. info@adventuretrailers.com
Use a 1:5 solution of white vinegar to water to flush out the system and remove the plastic and rubber tastes. We let it sit in the system for 15 minutes then flush the system with fresh water.
To sanitize the system, use 1/4 cup (2 oz) per 15 gallons. Just like the vinegar solution, we let it...
Very legitimate question and there are several reasons why. Here are a few:
Vehicle bearings are much larger in diameter and width and are rated for longer duty cycles between maintenance. It is not expected that you will put the same amount of miles on your trailer as you will on the vehicle...
Here are a few pictures of Paul's Chaser kitchen getting a breakfast workout on the south rim of the Grand Canyon back in May after OVX....do I smell bacon?
