id personnally stay away from the 35 10.5's as they are very rare(superswamper) and if u get a flat on your trip and destroy a tire u most likely wont be able to get one. i had all intentions of running that size in the ssr, but the cost and avalibility made me go to 35 12.5's. also for that...

gps indicated at 70 im turning 3160(scanguage) with my 35km2's. i was just under 3 grand at 70 with my 4.88's and same tires. 2.7 5 speed. goes to show u the difference between an auto and 5 speeds od
they are label 8.4. its what it even says on the door sticker code. i realize its not an 8.4 ring gear, but its also not the same as a regular 8.0 either. these diffs are NOT interchangable i guarantee it
with stock 3.58's and 32's i had alot of power and could haul *** all day long on the freeway at about 82mpg and that was because i was back reving high and in the powerband. maybe thats just his trucks sweet spot and that makes it seem like it has balls. u can definetly adjust ur driving style...
either way tire or no tires u want it to be strong, two 5 gallon cans of fuel weights over 65 lbs so that alone is a bit. i would suggest welding a receiver in the bumper, u can weld the front flush and u wont loose any departure angle at all. the pin just get put in from the back of the bumper...
i can tell u 2 buddys of mine have identical trucks (ext cabs, outfitted the same, same size tires and rims 33 12.5 15's) but one is a 2.7 auto and the other is a 3.4 manual both with 4.10's and the 2.7 cant get out of its own way, but that 3.4 paired with the 5 speed and 4.10's feels pretty...
also 3.58's came in early tacos(what i had stock) and 3.91's. most people unless there stupid will tell u to take the truck in to get the diffs set up. toyota diffs have to be just right or they will blow. dont ask about my 4.88's or why i know that haha, and that was with a shop doing the...
stock gears stock gear stock gears, these trucks come with more than one gear ratio so to say one truck is fine stock so this one will be is bs. i have a 2.7 with 5 speed and 5.29's with 35's and its great. ive also had 4.88's with same tires and it was very comparable except for passing and...
i have 35 12.5 15 km2's on my tacoma and i love them, but most stuff i could do just fine with 33's honestly. that said i dont regret doing all the work to get them to work correctly. i have about one inch in the front and with the work i did to tub the firewall i can truely clear a 37 inch tire...
ive had 235 75 15, 225 75 15, 265 70 16, 265 75 16, 235 85 16's and now 35 12.5 15's
for best of both worlds i really loved my 235 85 16's and wouldnt hesitate to run them again on any of my rigs. there a proven size time and time again. only reason im not running them now is i got a killer...
only thing about that is when ur sleeping and its raining out youll want ur gear stowed away. lucky for u you can just throw it on the front seat, but for those of us with canopy's that doesnt work that well
awesome. being a woodworker makes me really appreciate the colors. purple heart is my second favorite wood next to bloodwood
