The roto one gallon fuel packs are very nice but expensive.

The water pack costs less:

Way to sucker punch my savings account! I can't resist this, its criminal :sombrero:
Which lockers do I need for a 2001 regular cab Tacoma (non TRD e-locker)?
7.5 million actually goes a long way...
7.5 million /22 parks = $340,000/park
You could hire a couple full time employees per park with money to spare.
This is going to cost more than it saves when you factor the loss of tourism expenditures.
I can't imagine this is what the Arizona public...
I think its way too much to spend on a stove made in China.
It has exposed knobs that will get bent, and the grate is too broken up for large skillets or pots.
I'm guessing it doesn't have the best fuel consumption either.
How much revenue is needed to keep the parks open?
Montana state has some 50 parks open and spends about half the budget.
Arizona could easily man and maintain all those parks, this is criminal negligence.
Here is my ezi-awn t-top, I don't have the extra room zipped on in this pic, but you can see how it overhangs to keep you dry when climbing the ladder. The fly is not a hassle because it deploys and folds up with the tent.
You can't beat the ezi-awn t-top for bad weather camping, this is why...
The Overland Journal tested and compared a bunch of RTTs for all sorts of things including rain. I think it was their first issue, which can still be purchased. Certainly worth the $12 before investing in an expensive tent.

The Mr. Heater type is the best of the cheap heaters. Much better forced air versions are available Here. http://www.adventuretrailers.com/heaters.html
One thing you have to make sure of is that the bottle isn't leaking from the threads! You have to twist it on tight and check it for leaks...
Agreed, I camp for two weeks each year during the hunting season in Montana. Lows tend to average about 10F (-12C) I don't use more than 10 lbs to cook and run a heater for my tent.
I like the idea of the see through tank for piece of mind, I am scarce for room so I must pack accordingly.
I mounted my RTT above the cab line for more room underneath and thought it would effect the mpg but I really haven't noticed a difference so it wasn't much.
The more important issue is the higher center of gravity it creates. It really effects the handling in a bad way. I would suggest...
I myself would splurge for the 2001-2004 model
The 2.7 4cyl is an awesome motor
The IFS is better with 01-04
The aftermarket support is greater.
The biggest tire you would likely run would be 33" x 10.5 or a 255/85/16
Get the off road version for the locker, the sport is only a limited slip
05's had a couple problems with rear diffs and engine mounts.
One thing to keep in mind is that its nice to have a designated Expo rig that stays stocked in the garage for such events or modification projects.
They can...
Would you be able to get a high lift under the front bumper with this setup?
If not, I would figure out how you could. Even if it meant using a small receiver hitch mount so you could slide something in to jack from.
A pro for the replaceable tank is that it can be made stronger than the factory tank or positioned better.
A pro for the auxiliary tank is that you have a spare and can also run red dye diesel or off-road gas when off road, and taxed fuel on road with a switch of the lever. (in the states you...
I do to it seems.... but on the other end of it.
The first was a BB gun bouncing off some hard wood and hitting my lip.
The second was a 5.56 Fired at a short section of 4 foot diameter pipe sitting on end. It took some meat off the top of my shoulder and spun me around. I don't know if it...
That is a good point but deet doesn't melt all plastics like nylon, and that's why it can be packaged in bottles.
The pics look like a heat burn and I'm thinking that possibly the nylon got cooked, but stayed in place until it crumbled later?
Sort of like a mantel on a lamp is totally cooked...
