Plus with the suburban you can sleep inside the cab; its not objectively better but there are a tons of upsides to it.

Factory were torx T50. I have the [replacement] bolt spec for you, I just need to get home for the packing slip from bolt depot. You'll probably need a long pry bar too, though that is probably more due to the fact the factory bed liner held them in a bit. I'll update this post when I get...

Finished replacing the factory bolts with grade 10.9 bolts. Torqued to the ford spec 59 ftlbs.

There are caps available that cover the bed area. I don't know the exact length of the Avalanche bed bud I know it's not very long at all. Shorter than a Tacoma. It does have a pass through and I think coupled with a bed tent could work as a short term camping solution.
