Cool! I like the concept of entire Wi-Fi towns

    '01 Tacoma Front Bumper

I myself don't really consider the Taco t-case a rock anchor, but it is nice to have the clocking option for very serious rock crawling rigs

    Wi-Fi

:xxrotflma I guess if you are counting home networks, I do have that on wireless (secured! thank you). But I have not done the mobile Wi-Fi yet.

    Wi-Fi

Nope - I am a virg too! LOL I would really like to get a laptop (don't have one) and do the Wi-Fi on our western states tour when we do it. Good luck with your new toy!

Axe vs Mattock/Pick = The Pulaski Axe

I guess I will drift OT a little bit since we are talking tools... For probably less than $75, I have a medium length Craftsman shovel with fiberglass D handle, a composite handle full-size axe, a military issue mini-pick/shovel combo, and a Gerber Exchange-A-Blade saw. Seems to cover the...

    '01 Tacoma Front Bumper

Not sure about the winch mount. Belly pan for a Tacoma? You should check out www.budbuilt.com He has a sweet belly pan combo that goes with a nifty t-case clocking kit that will put the bottom of the t-case higher than the bottom of the frame rails.

My mistake, I meant the sightings of the Ivory-Billed in Arkansas. I hope you are right about the Imperial.

Trip Report: Keen Canyoneering Adventure (9/23-25/2005)

Absolutely! Having something dry/warm to put on if we needed/wanted to, made all the difference. I was also able to tote my digital camera and capture the trip with some photos thanks to my dry fanny pack.

Trip Report: Keen Canyoneering Adventure (9/23-25/2005)

No prob ;) FYI - I would not rely on the Newports for a trip like this, as much as I would the Boulder. The Newports are an AWESOME sandal - I wear mine daily and don't hesitate to take them "off-road" :D But for the sheer gripping capability and foot support, I think the Boulders would...

    Florida paddling trials

Thanks! Yea, you are right. My canoe suffers from some dents and abrasion. I'm sure I could use some "refinement" in my paddling technique, no doubt. When I wear my Buffalo out, I will look into a composite replacement. I'll definitely give you a holler. Thanks so much.  WOW -...

Trip Report: Keen Canyoneering Adventure (9/23-25/2005)

Thanks Scott, I agree about the awesome team ;) Wow, that was an incredible journey through some exquisite canyon landscape! Being able to put yourself deep within a cross-section of the earths history like that always gets you going. The sculpted curves and then the countless layers of...

    Florida paddling trials

Thank you sir ;) Nuullifier, sorry to drift off-topic a bit. This is supposed to be about your Florida Paddling trips! I can't wait to hear some reports. :lurk:

    Florida paddling trials

Yea, kind of blew me away! :Wow1: Also, to JH and Nullifier, I don't know if you received an email or not with a copy of the text from my original post (if you subscribe to the thread) but I edited, and removed reference to a book that I mentioned. I erroneously gave the wrong title and...

    Florida paddling trials

:Wow1: where are those "bow down" smileys when you need one... I guess we know who the resident paddling experts are now! :D 42 states??!! AWESOME! You mentioned composite canoes... I have a royalex canoe made on the Buffalo River in AR. And I like it a lot, but you are right - it is on the...

    broken arrow trip

datrupr, the DeSoto Mine trip is being hosted by Mark (Crawler#976) and I think there are still probably 7 or 8 spots left open. This is the same trip that you expressed interest in at 4wdtrips.net. He also posted it at Yotatech. However, if you don't think the Trooper is ready for Broken Arrow...

    Keen Canyoneering Expedition

Hi Greg & crew Scott, John and Uwe were out rappeling this morning at Watson Lake. I went over there last night and did some with Scott and John. We will probably be leaving Prescott before 1:00 or so. Looking forward to seeing you guys!

    broken arrow trip

Hello and welcome to the forum! Broken Arrow is one of my favorites. In Oct. I know that on the 8th some of us will be trying to see some of the Rally cars that will be competing in the Prescott Rally . And on the 22nd, some of us will be doing the 4th annual DeSoto mine trip, which is on the...
