Went to the scales today cause i needed a dry weight for my new registration as a rv.
Really happy with the weight.
Got all the desired paperwork:
Also got the net spare tire and rim:
Then we started building the next cabinet:
Did also some more insulation:
Thanks java, that's an awesome idea. :victory:
The door will open, but only 180degrees and not 270, which doesn't matter cause the tire would hit the sidewall either ways.
It`s a Waeco CD30. I figured that out too, should be able to fix it pretty easy.
Built the spare tire carrier today:
Of course there was not a single pice of tubing the right size in my 15tons of steel. So i had to turn some down:
Had to weld the plate to a fixture to turn the...
Put in the valve:
All the other stuff in:
Wired it:
Almost finished:
Then we started on the right side:
And then dumb us killed the brand spanking new fridge. We didn`t notice that the copper line bent really hard and started leaking. I broke it off then to let the...
Thanks. The shower is not made out of particle board. Not sure right niw cause my dad bought it, but i think it`s mdf. But i recall he said it`s water resistant that`s why he chose it. I`ll ask him tomorrow.
So i grabbed one of my oldest friends today, also a piece of aluminium:
Well, that...
Thanks. Just sent the parts out for copper plating, no time to mess with it myself.
I bought a y-connector for the airtronic hoses without a flap cause i thought i don`t need one. Well, turned out that i indeed need one, so i had to spend some time in the shop. Cause i wanted to get it done...
The cabinet will vent into the shower. The shower will have a roof vent. So i can use the shower also as a dryer cabinet when not in use.
Made some parts that will be copper plated:
Put in some ducting for the airtronic:
Then i made the dryer cabinet:
There will be some led stripes for indirect lighting:
Power panel:
:
And painted it:
I bought it off ebay. It`s rated for 600gph. The price was right and it seemed well build to me. Wouldn`t need it with a underfloor grey tank.
I bought some push lock locks but didn`t like the feel of the cheap plastic knobs. So i turned some out of brass:
Also took some vids...
Sorry. :sombrero: When will it be at your place?
So we started with the shower today:
While my father startet building the wood stuff i put in some wire tubes:
And spray foam insulation:
The lower part done:
Then i wired in the bilge pump:
Put some insulation on the wheel well...
Thanks, it`s really awesome, i like it a lot.
Didn`t get much done today apart from cutting up some cardboard:
Atleast we got a plan now. Well somehow...
Cut the back plate:
Put the fabric back on :
Placed some insulating tape over the insulation seams:
Here`s how the couch goes in:
In sleeping mode:
I like it:
Yes. But the air heater will mostly be used to dry clothes and stuff, and to boost up temperature. Main heater will be the hydronic, feeding the hydronic floor heating and a small heat exchanger.
Disassembled the couch today:
Cut the rear:
Fit`s like a glove:
Cut it up front:
This...
Yes it`s 10mm flat bar. It`s not overkill, otherwise it`d flex under the weight of the high beams.
Remounted the Espar today:
Also bolted down the floor:
Thanks guys.
So i removed the front bumper and started measuring:
Made some mounts:
Mounted it:
It`s a bit lower than i wanted it but the hood would hit the lights it it`be up higher.
