    Diesel Tuner

Mine's a 96 and I went with a 6 position chip from Tony Wildman. He set it up specifically for the van (based on ECU#, exhaust, intake, and manual tranny). It's been great, no issues, more torque/power when you want it, etc. http://tonywildmanchip.com/...

I picked up my 1996 PSD E350 with ~60k miles. The issues I have run into have been related to the van sitting for so long in a dry climate before I got it. The main ones being: Fuel pump seal started weeping. The older 7.3's have a mechanical lift pump. I chose to switch to electric fuel to...

    FOUND Vans For Sale!

Carrot Top! Drove past this up in Napa this weekend and had to stop and take some pics. It was very clean inside; the front seats, dash, everything looked un-used. No affiliation, etc:

Pics of your VAN! Post up!

Thanks gents! Hopefully it illuminates the actual conditions of most of the main routes in Baja. It really only gets gnarly if you want it too (exploring smaller roads, lesser known areas, etc.) This was our general route minus too many detours: Crossed Southbound at Mexicali Gaudalupe Canyon...

Best Vehicle for Urban AND Wilderness Travel?

You know this, but if SF is your urban environment then none of these will be fun. Well, I guess unless you find parking at 11am and don't move it. I feel like I'm trying to hand out fresh baby fur seal pelts when I look for parking around here.

Chest Style or Front Open Fridge for Van?

Fwiw our National Luna (chest) has survived 1000's of miles of Utah, Nevada, Idaho, and Baja washboards without a hiccup.

    The Ute II: E350 RB 7.3 ZF6

Yeah everything takes longer than planned. There were some major PITA sections and a few all nighters to pull it off for the trip. BUT, worth it! and no I won't be doing that again anytime soon. So the top works great (thank god). We had rain leaving town and then that dust storm (had to stop...
