I just checked and you are correct. On the Australian Jeep site, the 6spd CRD is only 410 Nm while the auto is 460 Nm of torque (both are 147 kW of power) -Dan

I'm pretty sure I saw a comment from DH that said the 6spd can handle it just fine, it's the OEM clutch that is the weak point. Also, the Mopar HEMI kit will "soon" be available with a standard, so there must be something out there that can handle the torque. -Dan

Anyone want to hazard a guess what it might cost? I have to imagine it will be a little higher than a HEMI swap, due to needing a new diesel tank, pump and gas lines. Getting a 3.0 will also not be easy for a while, maybe either AEV or Burnsville will have a deal with Jeep to source them new...

I assume long ranger get away with it because the tank is not plastic? I'd want a metal skid on the tank anyway (like the stock one), so you could make sure the skid separates the pipe and tank.... but it would probably still see some heat. -Dan
