It seems like Ultra Low Sulfur diesel is going to be a problem in all developing and undeveloped countries for a while yet. I personally think the advantages of diesel in general outweigh the annoyance of the (required) emissions delete package. I'm looking ahead to Euro VI, coming in 2014...

Nice. I was wondering if there would be horrible build-up on the injectors or anywhere else critical? I figure I would run a very high grade diesel filter anyway when in 3rd world countries, so that would help with the "contaminants" side of things. Thanks for the info... (sorry for the thread...

That's exactly what I was thinking about. I'd like to "trick" the computer however possible to let me run low quality diesel. I wonder if that will have any longevity impact on the engine itself, or if the only consequence will be nasty emissions. I'll cross that bridge when the diesel becomes...

It's easy to say that... but what do you think the price tag would be? I think as it sits it must be $65k ++ I suppose if they toned it down to regular JK Axles, 35s etc it could come in around $40k. -Dan
